4 Week Old Pruning? GIRL/BOY?

hey guys im growing a closet set up under 2x 70w mh and a 48wcfl and its four weeks old got some attached photos can u tell if its a girl or a boy yet? and should i prune the big leaves to give energy to the young ones? and generally any other tips first grow. cheers

Your pics are too blurry to tell.Do you have it on 12/12? Also, don't prune the big leaves,they're your plant's "Solar panels".

The plant is what is called leggy because of the lack of light so there is no need to prune anything.the best thing that you can do is buy a couple of 4 ft flouresents and have this has your mothr plant if she is a she and not a he.the best way to find out is take clones of the plant take about 4 look for a nice section of the plant with at least 2/3 nodes on it take off the bottom nodes cut at 45 degree angle under water this may sound odd but this will stop water folicules getting trapped in the stem,then dip into the rooting compound of your choice.gel is a great because it tends to get into the cut faster,it will take about 1/2 week for the clones to take has soon has the clones have been under the lights for 2 week put them on 12/12off this will tel you the sex post pictures of the plant's clones during flowering.by doing it this way you will be left with a nice female mother if the sex is female.all you have to do is make a black box where you can put the clones during the dark period but it has to be black out no light at all.

This is almost a guess, I think i saw a female preflower through the blur. Take more pictures of the internodes that aren't so blurry.

...and please don't cut off the fan leaves, your plant has very sparse foliage as it is.
