303... Forgot to answer your questions bout the nutes. I'm using this "SuperNatural Brand" sampler pack from a local hydro shop and also some other shit for taste and aroma that i got as a sample but I forgot what it's called...

...And Wattup 3 puff. Glad to see your checkin out my grow. Do you have your grow in a thread? Using CFL's aslo?

Thanks HH. LoL I hear ya bout them bugs, theyre little bastards. Makes you wanna get on some Honey I Shrunk the Kids shit and hunt those fuckers down haha. My little brother got some UK CHEESE clonesand has had them outside since he got em'. They smell soooo dank and look so crip but those
little motherfuckers are everywhere if you look really close. :wall: I hope you get rid of em' man! Best of luck!!!

Looks sweet Kushed. How old are your plants are. How much do you expect to yield.

Also do you just have row of lighting up top? Do you use mylar to reflect some light on the sides or something?

Check out my wrap around setup. Plants are from 2-4 weeks to flowering. Obviously the one in the close-up is of a 4 week plant, (shiva, DR.Atomic).

kush, i didnt know you vegged for 7 wks!!! thats over twice as long as i vegged my plants for. after wk 3 of veg, i switched over to flower and i know im going to get at least a 2x greater yield than my first grow, which i vegged for about 6 wks (it wasnt growing for all those weeks tho bc it had a ph problem and went through a lot of stress). it looks like i should be getting little more than 2oz off mine. pics taken tuesday, 6-23-09

Well its not that big. There are actually 2 plants- my Big Bang on the right (indica) and my Arjan's Ultra Haze on the left (pure sativa) which u can see some branches of. they're both the same age tho. I have them under a 400w HPS. I dont use nutes for the most part during veg except for some Miracle-Gro during the end right before flowering and during the first few weeks of flowering when it does most of it's growing. when the yellow hairs first appeared, i started them on half strength of Super Bloom (12-55-6) until they both got a total of 1 gallon full of it. Then I mixed it in full strength and also started feeding it Earth Juice Bloom (organic fertilizer) bc i hear the plants can't use everything a chemical fertilizer has to offer. They are in week 5 of flowering. I try to flush just about every other week.

ill take a pic tommorrow when the lights come back on. they have grown some more in the past week.

Yeap! I vegged for about seven weeks. I think the reason that they ended up the size that they are now is because I had them on a 24 hr. light schedule all throughout vegging, always kept the lights within 2", topping and LST. They never really had to "reach" for light since the light was always on and within 2" of the tops. Makes sense right!?
I'm sure it has aLot to do with the strain too, my buds look like they're staying supertight and just gettin chunkier.

Thanks NorthWest. Well the last pics are @ day 30 of flower. I have no idea what to expect as far as a yield... Maybe a zipper?? I'm aiming for quality not quantity with this grow and whatever dry weight I do end up with i'll use that knowledge to get a basic idea of what to expect for next time.
For reflective material I used some bubblewrap insulation stuff at home dePOT and its 99% reflective er somethin. Works pretty good though and it looks clean, also easy to work with compared to mylar or plastic.

keeping them on a 24/0 light schedule during veg is perfect- mj is a type of plant that can grow non-stop throughout all hours of the day and night, just as long as there is light and CO2. other types of plants need a certain period of rest every night. your plants got the most out of the veg stage.

I would think all plants need a rest stage wouldn't they. I'm not experienced in this, but I would never put my plants on a 24 hour schedule. For one I like to turn my bulbs off once in a while and save some electricity. Also isn't the plant used to having a lower temperature at night, also I thought during night the plant uses energy stored during the day, to grow extra strong roots. I dont know of anywhere on earth pot grows naturally, that gets 24 hour light days?
I know lots of people like to do this but I've never seen these grows look particularly better than plants on a 18/6 schedule. Probably doesn't hurt the plant, but seems kinda like a waste of money running those lights another 6 hours everyday.

That weed looks sick Kushed. I dont know how many harvests you have under your belt, (this is your "first grow" of SugarKush right), not your first grow ever?
Anyway I was saying, it's really sweet the first time you realize the weed you grow @ home will be better than all the different types you've ever bought from dealers. Now I live in BC Canada known for some of the best pot in the world, so Im using the best organic fetilizers I can find in hopes of making some superior bud. My last batch of Shiva is a powerful smoke, but still was only about 7/10 of what I think is it's maximum potency could be. I'm hoping my next harvest of Shiva will be 9/10 as for as potency. Your SugarKush looks like it will be madly covered in crystals, I think both our next harvest will produce bud that will knock you on your ass!
I'm excited for both of us, peace bra.

I guess theres been studies that when you have a plant on a 24 hour light schedule your plant is constantly producing sugar. I think if you want to keep your plants a little shorter and busher or if your training your plants 24 veg. is definately the way to go.
Oh and yes this is my first grow EVER...:clap:

shit dude, you must have done some homework if this is your first ever grow. It's pretty nutty how fast it is to learn shit now, just using internet. Our parents could never do this shit. Also florescent lighting has come a long way since 40 years ago too.
I like the aesthetic of your box, that insolation works well. I used recycled window blinds which have a woven bamboo on one side making it it very easy to form into a large square with rounded corners. it holds itself up, no nails or anything, just a bit of tape. I just found the shit in my apartment lobby but I couldn't think of anything better having used it a while now.
My setup was super low budget at first, just like most CFL growers, but now I spend more getting proper fans, quality bulbs, good nutrients, and such. This will be my first grow where I feel I have all my shit together so I'm hoping for big things. Plus I have 9 females flowering right now in a 2 x 2 foot space, so no shortage of plants this time either.

Yeah I read up quite a bit before I started and serious shit the internet is the shit man! LoL Between Utube and RIU I learned alot of stuff and of course other sources but yea...
Haha My grow stiLL is low budget holmes. Only reason I have any nutes right now is because I got a sample pack from the hydro shop. I just clean it up and do what I can when I do have money since i'm not working right now. I seperated my AC joint (shoulder) snowboarding and don't have money for surgery so i'm pretty limited to what I can do as far as work then the economy on top of that... anyways...
