4 weeks flowering - Big problem

I have a Sugar Blossom and NL plant that have been flowering for about 4 weeks. The SB was looking fantastic up until a few days ago, when all the fan leaves started turning yellow and dying. There are almost no live fan leaves on the plant anymore and the thing is looking pretty pathetic.

I added more nutes a few days ago before the problem started, but the NL plant isn't having the same issues, so its hard to blame it on severe nute burn. The flower leaves on the SB are still green, but they seem to be turning yellowish as well.

There is plenty of light in the room, the light isn't too close to the plant, the temp is at a constant 80 F. I have no damn idea what could have caused this. Some experienced isnight would really be great right about now....

really hard to see the details in your picture but from the explination it sounds like what has happend with my plants. they're also 4-5 weeks into flowering and most the fan leaves have turned yellow curling up and some are brown on the edges and drying up. the buds have just about stopped growing and all the white hairs are already turning orange. transplanted the worst 2 yesterday and they were pretty root bound and also starting to have root rot. im not sure if they'll recover or if i'll be taking an early sh1T harvest. only my 2nd grow

That is actually very helpful. That is EXACTLY what has happend to my plant. The buds have appeared to stop growing and the hairs are already turning orange!

SO you are saying that it is a problem with the roots??? I do have a the fairly large plant in a pretty small container. plant is over 3 ft and the container is a 6 inch by 6 inch. Did think it would kill the damn thing though...

Should I try and transplant?

Just transplanted the SB and that shit stunk. So I guess you called it, root rot. That's a first for me. The rot seemed to be located on the roots that had grown through the holes of the pot.

Hope she'll survive. Posted somemore pics.

looks a little grim to me sorry about you loss (if she doesn't come back) is there anyway to get a pic with maybe the flash or something to see it in proper color?

thanks dude. I'll try and get one right after the lights go out. I should have taken one when I took her out to transplant but I wasn't thinking.

Pretty much any leaf that isn't part of the flower is dead and pale yellow. The flowers themselves are still somewhat green.

Dude! Please transplant that plant asap if u want to try to save it. Transplant into a 5 gallon bucket and you will be set until harvest. Make sure your dirt is not too compacted and either put live earth worms in the soil or perlite to help your roots get more oxygen. I'm guessing it's probably bad root bound and need a lot more room. If your plant doesn't have enough room and the roots are poking out of the bottom for SURE you will get root rot!!! Good luck with your grow hope some of this helped, keep us posted. Sounds like the plant is at the end of its life cycle, could be bad genetics, I had a NL/Haze pull this on me.

Your plant is dying, harvest it soon.

As far as root rot which I dont think it is you can water with hydrogen peroxide to eliminate the fungus that is attacking the roots.

Can't be bad genetics can it? I am growing Greenhouse Seeds The Church - i have just repotted as it was going like this......
