Ok so I have several plants going and I have this 1 in DWC, today I was going to check the res level and found mold on the leaves, Wifey is picking them off now.

I think it got mold because my res ran pretty low, less than 1 gal for sure and the plant is in a 5gal bucket.

My other plants are in soil, what danger does this pose to the other plants, should I continues it's flowering in another room?
+Rep for helpful advice.bongsmilie

u need keep your humidity at around 50% any higher and u risk mold. any mold should be isolated stripped and binned . also if u can use a fan especialy at night as the humidity rises wen the lights go out . u cld also get de-humidifiers to suit ur bloom room like for caravans n s++t . dunno how gd theye are but i will try anything once . well almost

Thanks and welcome to RIU
I dont have a relative humidity meter yet.
Im putting it in another closet by itself for the rest of it's grow.
My humidity is normally low, or it was. I open a window at night and have a window fan going all night. I also use 3 other fans in the room 24/7 1 is a filter with UV on it. Also use a celing fan as well.
I had some water sitting out from a flush the other day that could have been partly to blame.bongsmilie

Mold huh, yeah that can be a major problem. Mix baking soda and water then spray on mold. (lights out) that will stop it. But yeah if you can afford some mold killer apply that.

Oh that mold was a thing of the past days ago, within 3 days it was like it never happened.
I used ALOT, bathed it prob used more than needed and it did burn my leaves a little, better than cutting them off.
But all the mold is gone, only used it once.

Today she will rejoin the rest in the flower room.

YAY ZT, shit def works better than anything else I read about.

ALSO I use a diluted bit around my front door for odor control.
Smells like cinnamon.

I would suggest looking into what kind of mold your plants have taken on. certain types of mold can be targeted by different agents.

by using a product that kills more types of mold you are exposing yourself to chemicals that you nor the corporation that sells it, have any idea about the long term effects of. Just a suggestion i am willing to help if you have questions hit me up. I have mold experience. and that stuff will effect the taste of your finished product.

Also bleach your plant containers before you use and between all flush cycles. rinse very well. sanitation is key.

Welcome to RIU, read about what I'm using Bud. Im not using a shit ton of chems, I'm using a blend of oils.

I don't have time to play mold games.

I had a problem, I fixed it.
Nothing unhealthy about it.

Not looking for any advise, Zero Tolerance works.

Also after a few days the smell is completly gone so Id say up to a week before harvest and no problem.
