Hi everyone! I have a 4 week old plant, grown from seed that looks like an Indica strain. I am not sure what strain it (she?) is because the seed came from bagseed. I had a bunch of seeds that I managed to kill trying to germinate but this one produced a very strong seedling and in week four the plant is putting on nice leaves. Last night I was in my grow tent with the magnifying glass and saw, for the first time, what appears to be developing calyxes in the nodes. So far none of them are raised so I am hoping I am having a girl and not a boy. I also saw what looks like it might be a pistil but I am not sure.
I am growing in a grow tent, in hydroponics and using Fox Farm nutrients. I used those years ago and had really good results with them. I am also using a 45 watt LED on the 18/6 light sked. The plant is a slow grower as far as height goes but she is putting on a new set of leaves every day or every other day. In my past growing experiences my females always grew slower and weren't as tall as the males. I grew OG Kush and Blueberry Kush, one of them stretched because I didn't have the lights quite right.
Can anyone take a look at the first picture and tell me if that is a pistil (fingers crossed!)
Thanks!!!
