400 or 600 watt hps?

hi everyone. thanks for all your help in the past. i have a new question. next week im getting a hps with cooltube but the price between a 600 watt and a 400 watt is about £4! i know a 400 watt will do me but will it be worth it in the long run to just get the 600 watt as they are both about the same price? what would be the benafit? so witch should i get, 400 or 600? both are full kits, tube, ballast and bulb. thanks

Get the 600 you will not be disapointed.

go with the 600 man you will love it with the cooltube, plant will grow quicker and bud will be fatter just make sure its a mh/hps conversion kit, and electric ballast are better

thanks for the fast replys. this is what im looking at getting, is this alright? all it says is:

High Quality 600 Watt Cooltube Kit

a 125mm Cooltube
comes with IEC fitting
600 Watt Ballast
600 Watt HPS Bulb.

get the 600 cuz ur gonna regret it if u dont.. almost twice as many luminis...

no its 5" thats not a problem is it? thanks

get a hps/mh switchable ballast. digital ballasts will accept either bulb but if using older transformer style get one you can switch between the two. and as far as 5" the bigger the better so you can push more air thru the hood when cooling it.

the light kit is new so not sure about it being switchable? can get a 6" tube insted, its like £5 more! i did think about buying the parts seprate but that pushes the price up alot to buy a ballast, tube and bulb alone witch is why i was going for the kit! i get £245 to spend on new equipment next week but dont wanna spend it all on one light! as i need other things too like a new propergation light, ph tester, fan and ducting and anything else i might need! thanks for all the help so far!
