400 watt aero 6ft plant first grow 39 days flowering

Right on man....thanks so much this is my first grow I think I'm doing ok, I have r.o. water,tds pen, ph kit, supernatural,co2 pucks and 1 6inch airstone directly below rootball seriously the size of a basketball fucking rediculous.....I start a a new seed going to do scrog next time canopy management is so cruicial i stress that so much nubes don't grow unless your doing some kinda training, topping or supercropping is a absolutely a neccesity (sp) I couldn't even imagine this plant that I'm flowering now in a scrog.....don't be scared either to start cutting on ur plant just do one cut at a time.....I'm so tired of these old ass buds for sale where they get all finger fucked till you buy it so trichs are all fucked can't wait to smoke this shit

yeah man, scrog is a major move up, more work if your trying to get as much light efficiency as possible. i dont prefer topping although, this hormone makes it bush out a lot more, more branches means that energys more spread out, as well as weight so the main branch has to build itself thicker than normal(this is wasted energy i believe). not to say this isn't the most efficient way to grow a plant, but i think it has its limits.
if your worried about a number of plants, sure, get maximum efficiency off one plant, but vertical grows are where its at. just drop a 1000 watt in the middle of a room and make shelves, all the plants will grow right towards their light. this is something you do if you get a bunch of clones off a nice mother plant, but i believe this would be the single most efficient thing to do.
or just do some complex training for them, really soon im gonna tie my plant around the pot so the tops of each plant are just as close to the light. whenever you grow indoors, i guess the simplest way to put it is build a setup where plants arent losing lumens, but not getting burnt.

I agree.....I'm just kinda disappointed in mine. Its been flowering for 53 days still no pistils changing colors it is bag seed and my first time with it ......they just don't seem to be "fat" buds ad I don't have a hermi I don't know they do say in the last two weeks they will double in size right?

And that's 53 days since it actually started showing pistils so I guess ill just pray for the best likei said I have a 400watt hps. Veged with MH,r.o. water,aireponics,tds pen,ph pen,6in airstone, c02 pucks so I just hope it puts on major weight soon

let it get a little chilly one night, that ought to get em real resinous. and since you gotta bagseed, you dont know your flower time so stay patient and watch for swelling buds and hairs changing, its coming really soon.

and maybe check your humidity, this could be a problem now that i think of it.

Right on I don't have a way to check humidity.....but the calyz are like a size of a pea and no there not pollinated calyz....it just seems like they should get bigger and the pistils color are not changing or receeding....there just seems like they are taking forever day by day they get more trichs....the trichs are still cloudy they just don't seem"REAL FULL" like I see on here but I don't have a grow tent or ne shit like that.....so I don't know

its early in flower. and try to get a humidity meter, theyre like 14 dollars at the hydro store, they tell temp too im pretty sure. but keep feeding it nutes and watch the calyxs day to day, they swell up the most at the last 3 weeks.

Wow I came home from a trip outta town the hairs started to turn red and cloudy trichs

Its a satavia and I have been in flowering for 8 weeks actual flowering....they are filling out nice

Hey man, that sounds like you got yourself a beauty. How long do you plan on flowering for??? If you follow the supernatural's feeding schedule, you should be switching from Bloom aqua to Superboost and Budblaster soon. I find my most noticable differences, when i switch from the bloom aqua to the SB and BB. I only do a 8 week flowering cycle, so i only use SB and BB on weeks 7 and 8 before i flush with straight water. So if your already at like 8 weeks, and you plan on a couple more weeks of feeding before you flush, i suggest trying the Superboost and Budblaster... You will see some amazing differences! The amount of resin and the density is going to take off. Its quite cool, cause you see the results just after the first few days of switching.

Right on....what if I don't have superboost....can I just use budblaster or what should I do you got me nervous now

Ok my pistils are turning colors I added budblaster to it I would say approx. 5-10% red pistils....how much longer can these things take they seem to consistanly be turning more hairs everyday!! I'm using aqua bloom with it to,r.o. water,6" airstone,1100 ppm?? How much longer do you think I have to start my flush its hard being a noob t get a geneal idea how much longer considering its 5-10% red hairs??

Its a unknown sativa bagseed

The chances of that bagseed being a pure strain are extremely small. You should assume all bagseed is hybrid, with very mixed and unstable genetics. Chances are, if you had grown 10 of those seeds you would more than likely see some exhibit more sativa like characteristics while others are more indica. You also can't pinpoint the flowering time unless you have grown this strain before, and then it would still depend on the phenotype your hybrid is showing. If your plant is mostly sativa then those buds will never fatten up to the point that you see in some of these pictures.

Keep that 30x magnifier handy and harvest according to the trichomes. The safest bet with bagseed is to harvest when they are mostly milky and some are just beginning to turn amber.

You also have to remember that you are flowering a 6' tall monster under a single 400w light. The top of the plant should get nice and fat, but don't expect too much from lower side growth.
