400 watt bulb question

I was given a 400 watt plantmax conversion bulb. has anybody used these and are they any good.

How old is it (how many hours it been burning)? Bulbs should be replaced yearly. But if it works for you go for it! happy growing my friend!

the bulb is new. have you used them?

no sorry... If it is new and free, burn it up bro! If you look closely, maybe you will see a manufacturer mark like GE or PHILLIPS? Do u see that anywhere? Sometimes they are mfg by a big company and branded as XYZ...

The name is Plantmax.

I dont mean to sound like a ass but i'm not a nube, i know i can grow with the bulb, that not the question.
i want first hand ex. with these bulbs. Question
Do they make the plants stretch more then a reg HPS.
Does the buds fill out as dence. I have herd that they dont.
do they run cooler than HPS.
Is light penetration the same.
I have been vegging and flowing under HPS, will these bulbs do better to veg. and flower

My bad, I was thinking somebody gave you their old bulb for free if you post a new thread with "Plantmax 400 conversion bulb" as the title hope you will get better answer....
