400 watt DIY Tent AK-47 Soil

ok small update lol the girls are growing like friggin crazy o.o starting to fill the screen, i think topping the two bigger plants really helped in letting the two smaller ones catch up cuz the other small ones have both hit the screen !!! thank you all for keeping tuned in, i hope i can share the joy that im having with my first indoor grow with all you helping hands at RIU...


On another note, i have been looking at going perpetual sense i am aloud to have 12 plants, i think i might keep a perpetual, and harvest every week ya kno , anyways i think wen i move next month is going to be my start to the journey of perpetual. well heres my plans so far, im going to keep the 400 watt setup, but only use it to veg, and am going to build another tent from more panda film <333 that shit, invest for myself a 1000 watt hps light with cooled hood, get myself a big 400+ cfm blower or something :/ not sure on that yet...but anyways so i will be keeping 4 strains, obviusly the AK-47, cmon you know you love the dankys, been looking at another strain called Nebula from paradise seeds i believe? i believe find myself a good 50/50 pheno of sharksbreath , so thats 3, and for my final i havent decided on strawberry diesel, or double gum, not sure yet anybody have any sudgestions or any info on these new strains would be very appreciated.

So anyways im going to keep a constant 4 strain rotation, cycle threw them each month so one every week , 4 in week 1-4 in the 400 watt veg tent, and then keep my other 8 in flowering tent which is prolly gunna be like 5x5x8 under the 1000 watt hps D so hopefully i can scrounge up enough money for this it would be so fantastic

looks good from what i can see. i've never done scrog or grown ak-47 so im more along for the ride.

right on, well thank you for joining the ride, i hope it will be getting more interesting soon, i think at the rate they are growing i can be switching them girls on 12/12 > but heres an update, they grew like wild fire in 8 hours, they were droopy when i woke up this mourning but i fed them with full strength nutes, and oula lol they almost have all the main colas up threw the screens!! not one sign of nute burn or anything yet, well a few spots on a few leaves cuz the nuted water hit them when i was watering but anyways here they are thanks for riding along everybody

ok no comments? :/ anyways got the tent all light proofed and my veg box all set up with lots of cfls, prolly shoulda got a few more 6500k lights but i just got alot of the 2700k oh well theirs 6 24w and 2 15w 6500k so i think that should be sufficient for a 12/12 schedule from seed, when they are done i think ill be putting some more clones in their, gunna get my hands on some super lemon haze, and sharksbreath im thinking about swithcing the ak's to flowering in a few days their starting to fill the screen up and im pretty sure they are going to double in size when i switch over so idk maybe another day or 2

yea im hoping i do lol, im just having trouble on whether or not i want to swich over lol, cuz i want my 12/12 fom seed to finish around the same time as the ak/s cuz i think i want to take some cutting form the ak, and have them with my other clones ima get lol

i would take clones before you go into 12/12 they seem to root better

i have no clue. never grown ak so no clue how much it stretches. i think most the people that ive read their scrog they fill about 70% of the screen before flipping.

Well in that case my screen.is about fifty percent dilled maybe? Ill put some more pics up tonight when I get outta.work and check on them but I just have a feeling they are going to stretch the hell out I dunno why but I do lol

ok well scfreen is filling up a little more day by day, i really think im just going to wait about another three to four days just to be safe, i dont want to much growth i guess lol, but i transplanted all four of the bagseeds into bigger pots so hopefully that helps them out a lot will update with pics tmmorow thanks for tagging along guys

heres a small update everybody , well been giving the ak's full dose nutes for a week now, their loving it not one bit of burn, been watering every 2 days now lol, the seedlings are looking good, i hope i get atleast 1 female out of the bunch would be nice lol, im still debating on weather i wanna switch the ak's to 12/12 yet i dunno if their just going to fill the rest of the screen in with that week or 2 of stretching i mean i really hope they do, but i dont want to do it to early or to late, anybody ever done an ak scrog? any tips would be very appreciated well heres some grow porn xD

from the look of it, i would veg for another week or two, then flip the lights. that way you'll end up with about the whole screen filled in. just a guess and a suggestion.

thats what i been thinking, i was really hoping that they would have filld the screen up they been vegging for almost 3 weeks i woulda just let em grow tall if that woulda been the case lol, i keep seeing people vegging them for lik 2 weeks under the screen, maybe i was mistaken, and i think that i have the indica dom pheno so that might have something else to do with the shorter growth rate possibly?

yea indica dont grow tall fast, they mostly stay short and bushy.

yea thats what ive seen and read, its wierd tho they grow like a indica, and the bud from the motherplant is deff indica dom, but the plant has sativa like leaves? odd if i might say so myself, i think ill give them another 3 days and then imma put them under 12/12....any objections? lol oh and btw how do i change my threads name, i need to change it to a scrogggggg lol
