400 watt Hps Light Question

A fellow grower friend of mine who I just came from looking at his setup with 600 Wat MHS/ 400 watt HPS and he has two great girls, Very Tall he stretches them out with the 600 and they fit the 400 watt perfectly.
He has like 3 gallon and there taller than 6'.

I basically have the same light from HTG, except I bought the Ultimate so it is MH/HPS. I am growing 3 plants with it, but it is good enough to go to 4-5 plants. You are fine with that light and the number of plants you want to grow.

ok thanks and ya after i posted this i saw the one your talking about that you can use MH or HPS in for lik 60 bucks more and i think i am gonna get that one, thanks for the infro

Ya me too. I've had it for over two years with no trouble. You may want to consider getting MH/HPS on this page it's not much more and the benefits are obvious. Plus you get the duel outlet timer, which you'll need.

1 plant per 100 watts is ideal. So, 2 with a 400 is just fine. Nice and cozy. I like HTG's magnetic ballasts.

ya after i posted this i saw the mh/hps one with the duel outlet timer, do you know how much it costs you in electricity monthly?

i sent htg an email asking how they ship such as in a all brown box with nothing on it since i live in an apartment and i am trying to stay discrete but they havent emailed me back yet, can you answer that mort?

I can answer that for you. I live in a high rise and I was worried too about how they ship the products. They ship everything in an unmarked brown box, so go ahead and feel free to order.

That will work but to tell you the truth, it's not worth the money.

There is a reason that entire package costs less then a single "quality ballast", or a single "quality bulb".
HTG supply is like the harbor freight of grow equipment.
