to answer your question bro yes it would...you would get more bud but it wouldnt effect the quality you just would get more. If your only growing 4 four plants youll be fine. If you do decide to get a better hps it would be more efficient for you to get a 600 watt or two 400 watts. they are more efficient because you can put them closer which means more lumens which equals more bud. 1000 watts are way to hot to get the full use out of them in my opinion.

I didn't read through the whole post, but Its the genetics of the seed that makes it Dank or not. The light just produces bigger buds, bigger yeilds. You can get Dank weed using cfls.
