i have a 400 watt mh light, and i was wondering how many plants would i be able to fit under it? btw all plants will be supercropped.
sounds good, do you use a shield or not on the lightYou should be able to get 12-15 plants under that light if you overlap them a bit. Works for me, they seem to fight for light more and grow a bit faster
A reflector is a must! if you dont you are throwing away more then half of your light. I put better reflectors on mine and they are growing at least twice as fastsounds good, do you use a shield or not on the light
alright, the reason i ask is becuase i have an awkward mh light that was used in a warehouse, its shield is glass and its not very wide at allA reflector is a must! if you dont you are throwing away more then half of your light. hmmm id try to put some more reflection behind it. if you dont want to drop 150 bucks on a reflector, do what i do. I got a roll of sheet metal at the hardware store, you know the stuff that is rolled up. I just cut off 12 in chunks, or how ever long need to curve over the light. Then you just have to figure out a way of attaching it to the light. costs about 10 bucks insteadalright, the reason i ask is becuase i have an awkward mh light that was used in a warehouse, its shield is glass and its not very wide at all

the bigger the better, but if you are planning on growing alot of plants I'd use 2-3 gallon pots, the square shaped ones can be fit closer togetherO, btw i forgot to ask, what size pots should i use for a setup like this
