400 Watt White Widow and Blue Dream Hydroponic Grow

Day 1:

5 White Widow clones and 5 Blue Dream clones
The system is a drip system and I am using Cutting Edge Solutions at half strength.

On Day 1 I recorded the following measurements:
pH: 5.7
ppm: 1150

I have the light on for 24 hours a day and the water is scheduled to drip for 15 minutes every 2 hours.

Any suggestions for a better watering schedule, nutrient concentration, pH or any other advice would be extremely appreciated!View attachment 2039358View attachment 2039359

pH looks good, you may want to cut back the nutrient ratio a bit until your clones start to take off..

Hey bro, ya the drip time sounds good, keep a journal, it will be fun to watch... +rep for you set up...nice

Day 2:

pH: 5.9
ppm: 970

The plants seemed dry so I changed the watering schedule to on for 15 minutes every hour for 12 hours and then on for 15 minutes every 2 hours for the remaining 12 hours. I have the drippers dripping at about 1 drop per second. Again, any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am still trying to get the ppm lower by gradually adding more purified water to the reservoir. IMG_2985.jpg
The clone pictured seems like it is dying. I'm not sure if it will make it but I am going to leave it in and hope it bounces back.

Day 3:
pH: 6.4-Trying to get it down by adding pH down
ppm: 970-Trying to get it down by adding more water

The clones aren't looking super healthy. They aren't the deep green like I would like to be seeing but they look like they have some new growth.

Again, any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Day 5:
Performed a flush on Day 4

pH: 6.4
ppm: 400
IMG_2994.jpgIMG_2995.jpg
I am almost positive that I burned the clones with too much nutrients but after I did the flush I am already seeing some new growth and things are looking much better.

Day 6:

pH: 6.1-Still trying to get it a bit lower
ppm: around 400

The plants are growing well! I had a little trouble at first but I am really trying to do things patiently now and trying to avoid unnecessary mistakes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm not really sure how to get more people to view my journal but any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. I have a couple questions that I would love to get answered. When should I increase the nutrient strength and by how much? What is a good pH for the system I am using?
How are things looking? etc. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Hey 10, clones are looking better since the flush. Just keep your ppm low until your plants root and really take off, then raise the nutrient level slowly. Too little is better than too much.
A good pH range would be between 5.5-5.8

Alright will do, what is a good way to increase the ppm? Like how many ppm increase can the plants handle at a time without getting burnt? Thanks!

Day 10:
pH: 5.7
ppm: 420 ish

I am going to try to raise the ppm gradually as I get ready to go into flowering. Not sure when I'm gonna switch them to 12/12 and flowering nutes. I want to wait a little and hopefully the plants that are a little shorter will catch up a bit.
