Hey guys

This is my very first Journal, not my first grow I've been doing this for a while but I thought ide put this one up and maybe future ones

So my setup is this currently
  • Tent in Journal name
  • 400w HPS (Brand new) old one started to turn shit
  • 50x50cm white reflector above light
  • Fan
  • 4x Afghan plants
  • various nutes I've got left over from my last grow
Basically I'm doing this for constructive feedback, as you can see in my pic one of my plants is a lot smaller than the other three, this plant got root rot really bad and I have just repotted her, cut away all the dead roots and gave her some new soil

These plants are 2 weeks into their 12/12 cycle and I can see pistils on two of them

I'm starting the clock from today going for 8 weeks :)

I'd cut your loss with the stunted plant. It won't recover in time to produce much and the other plants will easily crowd her out.

I was thinking the same, my next update will be in 6 days so it will probly be with only 3 plants :(

Def a good learning curv have this happen, it's the first time root rot has gotn me
 
7 days into flower
changes from first week
  • removed shitty male
  • scrog the shit outa everythin else
  • took 4 clones from root rot plant and managed to not let it die....
if anyone knows what the issue is with my yellow new growth on one of my plants please let me know !!! its only just started over the past 2-3 days and I have no idea what's caused it

welcome aboard! I too got my first case of root rot over the summer I lost 2 back to back grows in a record breaking heatwave I'm back up & running from stuff I cloned I only saved one plant because I transplanted & put it outdoors after I cloned it it looks good today but it took over a month to get well it is now finishing outdoors IMG_2908.JPG
 
wow that plant look healthy, it looks like its about 1 week further along than mine, also for anyone who was interested in knowing what the issue I was having was, it was iron...

I bought an iron supplement and misted my plants, within four hours they started going back green from the newest growth out.... amazing shit

pretty sure I know what caused it, using water untested for PH...
 
Day 14 of flower, pretty happy with the grow rate, I've had to tuck twice since the last update lol

  • Plants have had their first fortnightly feed of Thrive (my country's version of weed food)
  • Gave them a dose of iron and magnesium to make sure I don't get deficiency's later on

seeing as this is week two of my first ever scrog feedback would be awesome on what I could do to maximize my yield, I estimate about another 6-8 weeks left

that's good to know
 
they look pretty good & you're getting things done you'll kind of improve as things go along I think the hands-on way is probably best & you take what you've learned in one grow & apply it to the next grow
 
day 21 of flower (one day early I'm going away for three days)

Stretch is finally slowing down.... budsites everywhere

day 28 of flower (end of week four)

  • next time plants require water they will be getting another 20mil of Thrive each
  • Stretch has finally slowed right down and buds are starting to put weight on
  • removed a lot of excess fan leaves
Some of these colas are getting pretty big for only being 4/9 weeks into flower, super exciting as my first scrogIMG_1085.JPG IMG_1084.JPG
 
day 50 (start of week 8 )
  • had to remove front right plant due to hermie, no pollen, all was good
  • had to remove front left plants main cola due to bud rot, lost probably 4-5 grams, salvaged about 6 grams....
  • plants have had thrive every 2nd week since flower, 1 week of flush to go
Prety sure the back right plant isn't what I thought it was, it looks and smells like sour diesel, its also no where near harvest, mostly clear trichomes and white hair, I will give this plant one more round of nutes

Front left plant has 7 days to live, mostly all cloudy, some amber, very few clear
