that's actually a really good call... I hadn't thought of it that way.i think thats what makes a good read--- all the speculation, opinion/method discussion, and small talk while ur "watchin ur water boil"...
Yeah, I still haven't grabbed any cal/mg. I put so much money into my grow and seeds I'm not gonna have any spendable dough for awhile... Got plenty of sour diesel though.
what exactly does the root stim do? And what brand would you recommend for the cal/mg and root stim?
it's my first grow, so I don't want to risk stunting or stressing it this time around.

I would go bigger than 1 gallon, your roots will outgrow that in a couple weeks, at least mine did. That pro mix bx is good shit, roots grow like crazy in it. I love how all these soil companies are putting mycorrizhae in the soil. It definitely helps, creates a nice environment for the roots to grow, and the fungus and roots have a parasitic bond where one feeds the other. Basically you feed the fungus, and the fungus feeds the roots. I think thats how it works. Im not sure if anyone answered your question or not yet, and by now your plants have probably broken ground anyway, but they dont need light before they break the ground. They know to grow straight up anyway, and only need light once their out. Anyway Im very interested in this grow and will be following to see how it goes.okay... I'm starting them in their final 1gal pots, so I can't really do the bathtub thing.
when I put them in the soil, do I turn the lights on to their permanent lighting cycle? Or how much light, if any, should they get while germinating in the soil before they break ground??
i concur. most inputs are bullshit but there are some diamonds to be found while shooting the shit!i think thats what makes a good read--- all the speculation, opinion/method discussion, and small talk while ur "watchin ur water boil"...
