Just looking for some input on my setup this is my first grow under HPS. I have a 400w hps closet room with 9 nirvana pure power plant fems going. Wanting to see what you guys think the harvest potential for this grow will be and how long you think I should veg for. All the plants were just topped in the photo. Im using a mix of miracle grow soil and peat moss 50/50 ratio with superthrive. Plan on using either foxfarm or advanced nutes for flowering. Have a total of 800cfm of exhaust 400 targeted directly at the blub and the rest pulling from the top of the room. Roughly 500 cfm of inlet air. Temps stay right at 90 degress during the day and 85 degrees at night. Using a 24/0 light cycle. Plants are 2 weeks old in photos. Would love to see over a 1lb harvest is this a ridculous goal? Thanks for looking any questions of comments shoot Id love to hear them all.

From what I've read 24/0 is not all too good. The plant will develop much stronger stem during 18/6 light cycle. I kept my first grow at 24/0 until flowering, no problems. Stem is very iffy though, now that my plant is almost finished I have to tie it down or else it would snap from the weight of the top cola. Good luck to you & your girls!
I was wondering about that. I am not overly happy with the growth rate either. i had planned on running 18/6 for a week or so prior to flowering. I also plan on adding a oscilating fan to give more air movement in hopes of beefing up the stems. Any input on possible yeild based on personal experience or similar set-ups?

1/2 gram per watt is the benchmark, but with temps in the 90's you'll fall far short. Hold the thermometer under the lights for a more accurate reading; heat stunts growth.
Giving them a lights off night cycle will help bring down the temps somewhat, but a portable A/C would be worth it's weight in bud.
9 plants (topped) are going to bush out beyond the space you have.
Get the temps down and flower ASAP IMHO

That is too hot, you should put another vent in the door near the top like you did the bottom. This will create airflow through your space. Or even put an axial fan at the top of the door for exhaust.(lil black puck fan) That will surely do the trick. Also is there an osc. fan in your lil room? With a vent in the top of the door and a fan on the floor in front of the lower vent that will also draw air into the room and will vent hot air out of the top vent.(theoretically)

My experience with the Fem PPP is that they grow very slow. Nirvana claims vigirous growth. No with the mother I have. We will see if they jump during flowering.
But, I will be surprised if you got your target weight with them. I have yet to see the flowering go full cycle, but they grow much slower then Snow White or others.

I am using two 400 cfm inline fans for exhaust i have one pulling air directly off the bulb and the other pulling air from the top of the chamber. I am currently exploring ways to lower the heat and am considering getting a cool tub reflector but I think a few oscilating fans might do the trick one pointing at the light blowing the heat up to the exhaust fan and another blowing across the tops of the plants, so im going to try that first. I hate to hear that about PPP I had reservations about choosing it but when I saw it was a cross of white widow and durban poison I was sold. Had intended to take clones and use this strain as my genitics but I am thinking of moving to something different possible Jock Horror or AK? Just want something that yields heavy finishes early and has sativa smoke qualities.
