400w hps or 2 x 250w hps

hey what would produce better yeild results in my dr90. one 400w hps or two 250w hps. cheers

BUT youl prolly get thje moron on here wat thinks that 1 250 will get the same as the 400,lol

use the 2x250' mate angle them correctly lik each side angled towards the plants,,,or why not put em all in so ud have like 900watts?

go with a 250w but it will not be a huge diff. you will have more penetration over your plants if you can ajust them.

I would go with a 400 or if you wanted to do 2 250s, why not just a 600w? Which would be easier to deal with, and be cheaper than buying 2 250watters....and you would get 100 more watts...I can't deal with the heat from a 600w, and i don't really need even the 400w that I have, but they are what I use...and it is awesome, but if you want 2, 250w lights, then I would just go with 1 600w light...

Why the 2 250 split?

the fewer the fixtures and ballasts and what not you have to deal with the easier it is...so unless you have a really large space to cover then a single light would just be more efficient. It really depends on your space and preferences.
