So I'm bored as shit.. standing here looking at my scrog. And I can't help but think I screwed myself out of a larger yield. I know damn well if I would've let my plants grow without the screen, I'd be seeing a lot more growth than this. OR.. if I would've topped them, the screen would've properly filled out due to the bushiness.
No way in hell 4 plants should look this scarce of foliage. Especially since they're growing in 5 gallon buckets. I've seen bigger scrogs with 1 or 2 plants than this pathetic excuse of a 4 plant grow.

Don`t be too harsh on yourself. Next time make a cube out of PVC tubing and make your own screen. 3-4 inch squares would`ve served you better, less holes means you can feed more around and also they`ll grow up through it instead of getting pinched. But you live and learn, you`ve done well by all means though brother!

NEVER USE MIRACLE GROW!!! there is slow release nutes in it and you can never fully get them out. Also your light was pretty far away in the first weeks of veg. With the right ventalation that light should be good at 18inches away. however the nitrogen in the soil is gonna cause your plants to stretch alot espescially during the flip. when you do make it to harvest your going to have to flush the shit out of them or your bud is going to taste like cow shit. Dont get me wrong people have grown with miracle grow (including myself) and its a pain in the ass! Good luck.

I`ll skip the MG topic, touchy one for me. Not sure you`re done filling out yet brother, especially if you`re only day 16, hah. Expect the `fill`to last another 10 days minimum, should be nice, get your Cropping methods ready ;). I`ll be around,

I just wish I wasn't so damn poor all the time.. I'd be more than happy to never use MG again. But sometimes ya just gotta use what ya can afford.
I suppose I could've gone with a higher end soil and fewer plants. Since it takes quite a bit of dirt to fill those 5 gallon buckets.
But ya know how it is.. push comes to shove and somethings gotta give.

I compromised in the beginning as well. You collect and learn as you go, and within a couple years, it`s like you`ve been at it for ages. I`ve been growing and assisting grows for 6-7 years now and I still learn tons of shit every day. You`ll be a good one one day if you keep up that mindset ;)

I've been at it for 1 year this month. And seems like everything I know I've learned from making mistakes.
Tough way to learn lessons, but at least I'm learning.

I love this "hobby", if I can call it that.
Or should I say,"I love being medically compliant." ?

Mostly love it because, coming from a plant hobby where nothing happens quickly, this hobby gives me noticeable growth overnight. Those cheeseheads have nearly doubled in size. And trichomes have now become visible on the leaves near the bud sites.
 
Amazing isn`t it ;). I grow everything from watermelons to peppers, to my cannabis now brother, very rewarding. I`m hoping to open an organic aquaponic nursery for fruits and vegetables eventually, all indoors. It`s a good way to live :cool:

My largest of the homemade clones got a pot upgrade today. We shall call it... " Leader II "

Looking real good boss, I`d do an under shucking on your Leader II (love the name by the way ;)), get that growth shooting up. She`s gonna be a winner by the looks. Keep em`green,

Today was feeding day, so snapped a few pics.
Cheeseheads Day 27 of 12/12





Leader II clone moved into a 5gal. bucket. Started LST immediately.. Going to train the main stalk all the way around the bucket for a full 360 before letting it climb upwards. This will be the first plant in my attempt at a single bucket individual scrog.

Here are the other 3 plants that will be individually scrogged with Leader II. Already began LST on them as well..



These 4 clones will be my outdoor kids. 2 in the yard, and 2 in the greenhouse.. Going to see what I can pull out of my ass this year as far as yields go. Go big or go home!
