And well in reality at most, if I had 100% sunlight with no blocking, i would only get up to 15 1/2 hours of sunlight, if i could get sun from the minute it was up to the minute it goes down.

Yea that's totally fine, I mean 18/6 is arbitrary. 15 hours is fine, in my current grow I just started 2 autos from seed but already have 3 photos in flower so really those girls are only getting 12 hours right now. Granted their autos, but what I'm saying is they'll be fine. If you get worried just grab a couple 23w 6500k bulbs and throw those ladies under the light. When their seedlings they don't need much light at all.

Thought I'd throw a little update up with some pics. I've been supercropping the shit out of these ladies and I really like the way it's turning out. Clone 2 is far less bushy than clone 1, don't know what's up with that but they're both looking solid nonetheless. Got the little autos going now too, and the mystery seed is still chuggin away. Started LST on the mystery seed so she's bent over right now too. Pics or it didn't happen.....

So basically seedlings only need a little water and a little food? So yeha, I guess here is my plan, 2 weeks indoors, acclimate them to the outdoors over a week or two, then plant them into my spot. Dont really have to worry about light, but Im going to shoot for at least 11-12 hours, I may invest in some autoflowering seeds though. Maybe that will be the key.

Autos are cool, they're good if you're looking for a low growing stealthy plant. They have strains specifically for that purpose. Plan sounds solid dude, I think you'll be good to go. So you're planting these in the ground somewhere?

Yeah, They are going in the ground. It is in a forest, but the area I am thinking of is pretty secluded and doesnt have a lot of canopy cover.

Ok cool, then yea I think you'll be good to go. I've never done a gorilla grow out in the forest or anything but it sounds interesting. Do you know where your going to get your seeds from yet, or what strain(s) you want to do?

Yeah,Im getting them off a friend who sadly had his plants stolen last year, they where budding, and they got stolen on his birthday. (Honestly thats pretty messed up), but the strain is Girl Scout Cookie. My friend was growing them outdoors too.

Aw dude that's the worst. Was he doing the same thing like you, growing in the forest somewhere? A couple years ago I had 2 beautiful girls who I was planning on cutting down on a sunday, the cops kicked in my door that sat & cleaned me out. Horrible experience.

He was. And his house is really secluded so he didnt even have to go far to not be seen. That really sucked, especially because I absolutely love GSC. And that must have been a scary experience, what happened? Did you get any charges or anything?

One of the worst ever, especially since I lived in Louisiana, which is mandatory 10 years for cultivation if found guilty. So yea, they originally charged me with cultivation, intent to distribute (which I didn't, it was all personal but they said no one person could smoke that much....), and paraphernalia, for like a total of 15 or some years. Dude it was crazy, took me 6 months to go to "trial" (which was really just a regular hearing with a bunch of other delinquents like myself) . I literally walked in there thinking I was going to jail for years and right before I had to go up my lawyer pulled me & my gf to the side (they were charging both of us), and told us if we both agreed to a misdemeanor they dismiss it on a technicality ha. I live in CO now though so luckily don't have to worry about that happening again

Really they just let me off because I paid a bunch of money for a decent lawyer and I have a lighter color skin tone, a.k.a. I'm white. The good ol' american justice system.

Hahahahahahaha didnt know a grow guide could turn into politics ;P lol but yeah, hopefully here in MAss they will be legalizing it soon, hopefully beggining of next year. Its already medical here, just waiting for good ole recreation.

Hahaha, yea it turned serious real quick in this MF. But yea man hopefully they'll get around to make it recreational legal in a lot of places soon. TBH though it really didn't change much here in CO when it did, just now they get to tax it more and shit.

Day 44
Quick update.
I bought a 1000w ballast and HPS bulb to flower with, should have those by thursday and will be switching the MH out friday. Friday will mark 1 week in flower with MH, which is as long as I plan to do flower with it on this grow. I usually will go 2 weeks of MH then change to HPS but since the clones (supposedly) are quick to finish flowering I'm going to switch out early.

Day 85
Alright, so I finally got off my lazy butt to take some pictures for an update. I've called a lot of audibles but eventually just went back to my trusty 600w and 400w combo. I tried the 1000w in the space I had and I didn't really like it. In the past I've grown with a 600w and a 400w because then I could mix the spectrum in flower but I didn't think it would work in the space I have now. I did some tinkering though and actually mounted my 400w on the side of my tent kind of vertical style. So now I have a 600w HPS over top (which I also modified the hood for to get better coverage) and the 400w MH on the side vert style almost.

Currently on day 43 of flower for the clones and day 46 for the autos. All is well, Clone 1 has a slight Mg def but nothing crazy. I've been upping her nutes a little. Did a banana peel tea watering on all plants, also did a couple kelp meal tea things. Clone 2 is a beast, she drinks about a gallon every 2-3 days. The nugs are fattening up real nice on her. Kind of worried about the size of the nugs and the branches holding up but don't really know what to do.....anyways here's some pics, finally (my camera isn't the best hope they are ok pics)

This is the whole tent with the two autos and that mystery seed I started out with....yes she's still chugging along, def get some smoke-able weed from her but nothing close to how the clones are producing of course.

Forgot to mention that I also added a second 6in inline fan. So now I have one fan+filter dedicated just to scrubbing the air and one 6in inline that brings in cold air from outside, blows it across the light, and vents it right back in to the tent to cool it down.
