I topped the Indian strain today. Has been growing well, it's about 2 weeks since sprout and has become very bushy.

The somango and nlxjack are doing well. Both growing their 3rd set of leaves.

NLxJACK

Hope all goes well, all looks well as yet. Started feeding them with 1/4th doses 5 days back.
And the pH of the nutrient solution going in is 6, i know it should be 5.8 but they seem to be responding well as of now.

happens sometimes with my bulbs too, usually at the time of a power cut, i just switch them off for 5 mins and turn them back on and they light up, something to do with gas based bulbs

what are you using to measure the ph? I am using a 20$ device i bought from ebay, dont know how accurate it is but the PH of my soil is always at 7, never tried measuring the ph of the feed though, maybe a ph problem could be the reason one of my plants looks like a hobbit in comparison to the others. ill post some pics soon, i think two of my plants may have started flowering, been 16 f***in days since i flipped to 12/12....nervous times

I bought a Hanna ph meter for 700rs. When it came it din work properly so had to buy buffer capsules n distilled water and calibrate the fuck out of it to make it work. I have to calibrate it every 4-5 days n store it with ph7 solution in cap to keep it accurate.

A friend got this ph meter - HM PH 200. It's around 3-4k but is very accurate and has digital calibration. Gonna get this once I have money.

Somango

What do you people think? are they growing fine?? somango seems a bit slow. Both of these are autos and are under 18/6, when do you think they would show sex?

two indian seeds are doing well after topping, they are at day 20 and 18 respectively

nice stuff

what nutes are you using right now?
if they're the GG standard hydro nutes, how much and how often are you feeding?
I just finished running a test grow with their nutes but it was on a different strain...
still understanding how to best use it...it seems to have all the basic necessities in both
when you combine Bloom and Grow nutes but somehow their mix of the Grow A and Grow
B are not how i'd expect...first chem grow, and i'm still thinking organic is better...i don't generally
add perlite as i grow them outdoors and the water just evaporates too fast, gets
too fucking hot these days...doing a grow with lots of seeds i'm getting from different
grower friends across the globe...the seedlings i mentioned are a friend's cross between
easy ryder and a gambian landrace, now at the F4 generation...just picked 12/25 seedlings
based on root growth...i will start a new thread soon for all these new seeds once i get
my new camera next month...i'm just vegging each batch of seeds for 2 weeks then planting
another batch...temme how the autos turn out, this is my first time growing autos to be honest....
and man does lighting make a difference, you should see my seedlings crawl towards the
cfl lights...dont have space for better ones though so it'll do...

in my experience autos generally show sex around the fourth node or so
unless you top them or something, not advisable with autos anyways...

first time i'm seeing an indian plant growing under more than 12/12, seems
to be responding well...you don't want to grow it under 18/6 for too long though,
under 12/12 from seed indoors it reaches 6 feet with supercropping, topping,
and lst, this was an organic grow...you might wind up with a ridiculously unmanageable
plant...my plants under 12/12 from seed during the winter grow crossed 7 feet...i was
considering lsting and topping/supercropping it, but the plant seemed to take care of it
on her own...

somango is slow untill it establishes a good root system, even then its yield is
supposed to be small...soma and subcool are a couple of examples of breeders
who breed purely for potency and flavour, keeping yield as an added bonus if it
happens to be passed on to the next generation.

also as for feeding your autos...combine the grow and bloom ferts...during growing
as far as GG nutes go 90:10 Grow:Bloom works well...as they show sex switch to 70:30
then 50:50 the next week, next week 30:70 till pistils start turning brown, then go 10:90...
flush during the last week...

good luck, if you're in bangalore what kind of music are you into

i have been using 10ml per L of grow A and 10ml per L of grow B. and using 5 ml per L for foliage spray. They seem to be responding well. I hope I do not get into any cal mag problems as I do not know how to treat them in coco without buying an expensive cal mag chemical.

I do want to try the ratio given by you but I do not know if I hauls disturb the routine now.

The Indian strains are gonna go outdoors once the autos start flowering.

I have the jungle juice formula bloom n micro but I am planning to save it for later or of the GG nutes do not work.

Well yes i am here in this city and love the weather here and As far as music is concerned, m into all the peaceful chilled out stuff. Dylan, Beatles. Was more of a metal fan not so much anymore. I think I found my peace last time I popped a stamp ;)

Hey! The autos look really good, as i understand they usually show sex between days 19-24 so i think your fine. I finally got my seeds day before yesterday from attitude and i spent the entire day talkin to the locals about different kind of soil mixes. In the end i decided to go with a mostly Coco mix which i prepared with the help of the gardener, said i was growing tomatoes. Also i bought some Honge, bio organic manure and neem cake. Planted just one seed of Easy ryder and im hoping for the best now =) . Couldnt find perlite , they havent even heard of it, i guess my only choice is to go to gardenguru.

Blackhawk, can you temme where to get that Ph meter? My granny gave me some cash yesterday so i thought id buy it along with the lights. Damn im so excited, id always thought i have to go to holland on the Us to smoke some skunk, untill 5 months ago :D Ill upload some pics of my setup etc. when i get a camera. I hope your plants come out kickass ill be looking for updates every couple o days. Happy growing!

Congrats on your seeds. What all strains you got?

as for ph meter, I would say do not go with a cheaper one as it doesn't really work. I got a cheap one and now am cursing myself. Here's a kickass one m planning to get next month n a friend of mine also got. It works flawlessly.

is this good for measuring the PH of soil?

I saw this online too but got the impression that this was only to measure the PH of your feed/liquids...

what are GG nutes?

Yes u can but you can't put it in soil. U should take some soil from as deep as u can without harming roots n then put it in distilled water and swirl it around. Let it settle n then measure.

GG is garden guru.
