ok i've got a 2' deep x 3' long x 6' high hall closet and this is what i was thinking of using this htg stuff for my first DWC grow. i was thinking of going with 2 5gal buckets for my first grow then moving on to 4 buckets after i've got sum know how and a mother plant from my first grow to make sure my next 4 plants are all lady's.ok here's what i was thinking of getting.

ok is there anyone that can tell me if this looks like it'll be enuff for what i want? i wanted to germ and veg some northen lights untill 1ft and then flower till the end from their. i no with that light in that small a room will make it hot do you think with that reflector and the fan i'll be ok? or would i need sum else to help with the heat? i cant cut into the door or anything to have any intake/ out take fans only the one in the grow room. any ideas? any in4 that i can get to make this grow a success will be a great help so anything, anyone?

thats about the size of my grow area and with 3 plants in their 3rd month im already looking at crowding in a few weeks

I have 3 plants in a space 4x4x4. If there were any more they would be so crowded the lower plant wouldn't get any light. As is I put cfl's under them and a 400w HPS above with mylar all around....

how large are you growing your plants? what size are you vegging your plants to and what kind of plants are you growing? and what watt lights are you using in that size room? also do you think my light reflector and the fan will be good enuff for the heat? what are you doing to solve your heat/odor problems?

That looks pretty complete. I have two of the htg supply halides and I like them. I put a small fan on the ballast and it stays very cool.
I prefer PH test kits.......the kind where you put the drops in the test sample. I find them a touch more trouble but more reliable and consistent.
The resovour heater......I would forget that unless your growing outdoors in the winter. You want to keep your res cool not warm.
Other than that I would say you should be off to a good start.

I use one of those tek lights (PL55s) for vegging and it works great. I also got my ph meter, and other light systems from htg also. Great place, great stuff.:evil:
