Why not just put like an overlapping peice of mylar or cardboard covered in mylar(stronger) on top buckets inside rim so you don't lose as much light when it's closed, think that might work?(just suggestion) but tell me what you think of that idea as I want to do a grow pretty much like yours:hump: and would like to keep as much light as possible inside since I can only use CFL's in the buckets and want to know what you think?

the light you see coming out is not that much it just looks like it is(cheap web cam) and it would not be that hard to lock them together just need some type of fabric or brackets that can hold a screw.

Duct tape around the edge! Duct tape fixes everything and you can make wallets out of it, I am so stoned.

the reason i have not stopped that light from coming out is i have not setup my ventilation system yet and i do think that a piece of cardboard with mylar on it would stop the light from coming out but you would have to only attach the top part of it so the containers will still open(i am not using mylar i could not find any at any of the stores around me so i used foil!!!!):wall:

well i have learned what the problem with plant C is i put one of them wal-mart temp. and humid. testers in the boxes and it was 105 in there so i cut some holes in the sides and im going to finish the ventilation system tonight i will try and get pictures !!!!

i have mounted 1 4inch pc fan on each of the boxes and im going to monitor what happens in the next 24 hours to see if i need more fans.

Cool... I assume that u used one for intake and one for exhaust?

Keep a watch on the temperature and keep us posted.

the reason for only putting a exhaust and no in take is to get neg pressure if you look at the last picture i posted that is going to be a air filter is came out of a pc and i should be able to put a carbon filter in the square part of it. :hump:

i also posted pics of plant b and plant c you can tell them apart by the leaves plant b's leaves stick strait out plant c leaves curl down im positive that is from heat the edges of it are starting to turn yellow.:-?

this is day 17 from soaking the seeds also i put in a co2 maker(yeast and sugar) in the back corner you can see the co2 2 liter :D

plant b and c are in the small room(22 gallon buckets)...

i think i am going to start flowering them Friday i want to build scrog and need to know witch are females before i start it.....

If at first you don't succeed, try try again. Dude, your posts sound very farmiliar to me and the first grow I am doing. I kept checking, correcting, and changing my setup. So far my plants look pretty good. I hope yours work out, too. The picture by my username is a picture of one of the colas flowering 21 days so far. I just took the pic today.

if some one in here knows a link to a few pictures of the scrog/bog grow i would love to see it i think it would be a great setup for my containers ........

i was thinking that if i put a screen horizontal and then attach a screen vertical in a cone/u shape and cut angles on it so the box could open i also would use 3 plants i should end up with a very big harvest!!!!!

:confused: i have a deformed leaf does any one know why this happens or if its a good thing? the first 2 pictures are of the same leaf and the 3rd picture is the same leaf on other side of plat ....

the reason there droopy is i just sprayed all my leafs i was told spraying them helps keep them clean...

all the other leafs on the plant look norml :D

this is plant D and it is on day 16 since start of germination(i put the seed in potting soil that was really wet on a side note that how all my seeds germinated) !!!!

To solve my problem i bummed $40 from my mom and off to Wal-Mart i went. I got 8(10" wide and 10" deep pots), 4 bags of potting mix, 2 clip on light fixtures, and 2(23 watt cool CFL's).​

well i decided to try out the fim method on one of my plants so i had to do it now so it has time to heal by friday when i start the flowering...:hump:

here is what it looks like now on day 18 :-?

i got mine from home depot for $6 each there only the 75watt ones but im only using 23watt bulbs
i got the light bulbs from wal-mart
