430 watt Vege/1000 watt hps flower

Hello .I need some info on bulb watt switch.I'm looking to vege 18/6 in 430 son agro light and when i go too 12/12 i'm looking too go hortilux 1000 watt hps.My question is will your flower yield be as a 1000 watt set up or less.Does the change from 430 - 1000 watt bother plants if done when going from vege too flower.I'm doing this because my landlord is a cheap ,frugal type and i'm trying to keep electricity down low.Thanks

No, you are on the right track. I actually use a T5 florecents which are a lower wattage then under a 400 HPS and my yields and plants produce the same as when I used a 1000 watt hps, just less space for me.

Your setup will kick ass, just be wary of heating up you bud room. More wattage means more heat. Try cool tubes, they seem to be the best bang for your buck, I won't grow without them now because I have all the control I need for temps anytime of year.

unless u got more than 6 plants 1000 is too much and will kill your electric bill. better off with 250 Mh for veg, or even floros, and 400-600 hps for flower.
