440w LED/600w HPS side by side perpetual grow

New journal for new times.
I took the plunge and added LED to my grow setup, so I figured I'd start a new journal and see what all the hype's about.

Details...
I've been growing almost 2 years now, only ever using HID previous to this.

Setup...
Veg is done in a separate tent. Average 4-6wks.
Flower...
4'x8' Regular Gorilla tent in a 66F basement.
2- 220w 3500k lm281 Qboard's with IR and UV on one side, and a 600w HPS in a Sun System magnum low profile hood on the other.
8" active intake/exhausts. 3.5 gallon hydroton-hempy buckets I made that are auto feed/drain and can be directly germinated or cloned in.
Jack's 3-2-1 in RO water for feed.





This isn't a true "side by side" seeing as how I grow perpetually, but I run enough of the same strains to see them under each light and notice the differences in growth.

Just got setup this evening, so let the games begin.

4x4 veg tent with a 150w Qboard.
Currently have a Blueberry Glue and Original Glue seedlings in back, along with a Birthday Funk and Original Glue cuttings up front.

Original Glue topped yesterday.

Cannarado Birthday Funk cutting with a little tip burn, but not bad considering it's had full veg nutes since it was cut.


I also did a little more housekeeping in the flower tent to get better airflow and a more even canopy thanks to some extra buckets.

Everyone seems to be transitioning over to the boards pretty easily.


I'm working on temps and humidity now, so I unhooked the exhaust from the HPS and took out the glass to get a bit more heat. I have trouble getting it over 72F and keeping RH down with it air cooled.
I'm shooting for around 80F lights on, RH usually around low to mid 50's.
