Hello

I've been lurking around here off an on, while i'm on other forums, i feel like i've neglected this place.

im a strictly outdoor grower at 44N.... i am always seeking early genetics that can do extremely well here and let me harvest before mold and police do it for me.

here is a collection of random photos from this years grows. if anyone has questions , please feel free to ask.

peace, stay safe everyone :joint:

first up, the Mighty Freeze, f2 of JaySprouts line.... seeds gifted from Sow;

3 plants one 18 gal tub, 2 girls, male transplanted for breeding back in july.

early pheno took the pollen well.... here she is before i chopped her. could have gone longer, but mold was an issue....

later leafier pheno

the early girl with the less leafy buds was harvest before the end of August with over 3 oz. The late pheno went till the 3rd week of sept but yielded more.

Monster Mix, GG/Congo x Thyphoon, and Bizzare GG3

these were started late may, and set into a swamp/meadow type location in early june. very minimal maintenance, all work was done to soil 2+ weeks ahead of time,.... plants checked on every 2 weeks.
this is same location that the mighty freeze is growing.

Monster Mix -- realy mutty, but all good outdoor genetics. these girls got BIG :D ... 10.5 feet at the top?? has GG/congo, easy sativa, and maybe satori in the genepool.

and just to the right of the plants above.
gg3 on left, mighty freeze in middle/front, and monster mix on right

Guerilla Gold #3 --- 2 extra plants went into a small 7 gallon bucket. amazingly, they have enough root space and are decent plants.

big plant in back, little in front

closer of little plant.... she dropped most leaves from lack of root space/drought

stressed out, but still making decent bud :)

buds of the taller plant

here is the monster mix on the far right, also another 10 or 12 footer :smoke:

Tall as hell. They look insane. Is the mold the black on the bud leaves in those first few pictures?

thanks for stoppin in guys.

the tubs were not buried, they were not staked. they were perfect untill 1 week before harvest, and they all blew over. its ok, i came to harvest (by chance) almost immediately after they had fallen. from now on, all tubs are being buried 3" deep, and heavy stakes on each side.

steampick --- i do not know what you mean? the mighty freeze had almost no mold period...... black spots on bud leaves? the shadows??? lol

I thought you mentioned you could have gone longer but mold was an issue on the Mighty Freeze, so I was scrutinizing the photo for black mold, which I may have a case of on my plants.

black mold eh? no it was the white mycelium inside the buds themselves, not visible unless you move the flowers around a bit. it was just starting to take hold, so better safer and sooner than later and moldier.

ahh i see. no i had the white fluff (mycelium) starting on the inside of a few buds....there is no mold in the photos

Those are some tall ones! Was going to say..looks like damp area vegitation around the plants. Sure makes it tough fighting mold..i can relate! Look Good Though!!!

thanks ryripit... those tall girls were very sativa dom, fluffy buds. only one plant actually had any mold at all, and that was after it had blown over and sat on the ground for a day or two.
however, because of the bud structure, only yielded 2-5 oz per plant, even though they were large, but atleast i didn't have to fuck around with mold.... which is a rare thing for me :)

NoBalls --- a few different types. basically ProMix and or Faffard (basically same as promix) ... amended with Espoma 5-3-3 and some tubs had well composted chicken manure mixed instead of the Espoma.... all of them had time release chemical ferts on the top of the soil (because this was supposed to be a set and forget grow), and when i fertilized during early/mid flowering i gave them a mix of homemade compost tea, neptune fish/seaweed, and Alaskan fish blooming ferts.

here's some more random pics.

this plant was most likely a guerilla gold #3, but could have been a gg3 x skunk1, or anything else for that matter... kind of a mystery. crazy foxtail buds (when you look closely) but still grew like an indica. i put some Mighty Freeze pollen on her for shits an giggles.

whatever it is, they shit is very good and UNIQUE.

a fatty pheno of the GG/Sk1 ... tropical skunky at first wiff, then turned into nasty rank skunk#1 goodness. no seeds from her for some reason :(

hehe this is a good pic. this is two HFH mystery plants. we thought they werent gonna do shit, but miraculously a tree fell down and gave them hours of morning sun, then they grew like hell. so big, that after they started flowering i had to tie them down/train them using virginia creeper vine and sticks :)

the plant in front:

that was some seriously KNOCKOUT weed, and it was harvested at least 2 weeks early. shit looked like stereotypical indoor buds when dried, and 3 hits made me want to nap , after sitting in one spot for an hour lol

and for fun, a kc33 that was ripped out of its half-buried pot by a bear and moved 3' away from its original spot... i found it a week later, it had re rooted and started growing like nothing happened

if you zoom in on the full size image, you can see where the bottom of the tap root is exposed to sun, then 8 or 10 inches is covered by soil (where it re rooted itself)
here it is the plant on the far left

thats all folks. if you want to see the rest of the pics, feel free to brows the albums on photobucket
