im in week 8 its indica dominant, Plant been in senescence a week
I’m just saying what I would do and what I see you can pull them whenever you would like too it’s a your choice thing but if it was my choice which it is not but if it was I would wait another 4 weeks. I know the trichs are a little darker in some spots but the bud has some more maturing to do and the pistols are still present which they won’t be when it’s ready. But again señor it’s a your choice thing.

Haven't you been flushing it? That isn't really senescence...I mean at least not natural. That was what I meant by the flushing thing. Even if you are if you want to go the extra 9 and give it some food you still should be a bit away from a flush. Which I'm not a big fan of but contentious issue.
When people say 8 weeks flower or 10 weeks or whatever it's never true. A plant is ready when it's ready. Some may be 8 weeks from bud start, 10 weeks from flip, some may have a sister that is 10 and one is 12. I wish I could tell them to finish at a certain time because it's hard not to harvest when you start seeing something dank and thick. It's just it may give you signs it can be better with a bit more time.
I mean you can take it whenever you want, most people here are just saying if you don't and treat them well maybe they will give you a bit extra.
EDIT: I grew a sativa outdoors...It's almost November and I am trying to keep temps up in greenhouse for 2-3 more weeks.

Totally Bro science but, try it if ya must. Be VERY careful of temp and relative humidity. After all that work, why try to get mold?

You'd be surprised to learn that keeping everything optimal start to finish works better than anything.
All of these methods that use negative stress on the plant to get a positive result don't make any scientific sense it's all bro science or "may help" techniques/products.

This guy says give them continuous light before harvest, not dark. Terpine concentration is lower when put into continuous darkness. Reducing the temperature also helps, but don't over do it.

So im at about 20 percent amber trichomes and just about ready to harvest. Im going to try 48 hours of darkness to stress before the harvest and increase trichomes. Got GorrilaGlue#4 Bergmans GoldLeaf and ChemDawg#4 Girls are already very frosty, but have heard alot of growers swear by it. Just curious how many do this and any tips or advice? Thanks and Happy Growing !
all ready at same time, warning bells are ringing warning bells are ringing lol.
the chances of all your plants being ready to harvest at the same time it miniscule with differant variaties growing.
you want the sac's that the hairs are growing from, to almost be engulfing the brown hairs. enlarged and sticky with thc glands, then they are ready, as mentioned above by peeps, white hairs means a way to go yet

it does make some sence this dark period, as its when the plant does most of its flowering. if you think about it, the longer the dark period, the more thc glands will swell, but the plant is useing carbohydrates to grow, it can only accumulate so much carbohydrate to turn into thc, you may be getting a tad more out of it, but to my mind, its an old wives tale
