Wandering what article or thread the OP read the 48 hour dark period info. Where did I read it 12 years ago?
You would need to grow 2 identifier cuts, same conditions, chop both on the same day but leave one under 12/12 and the other under 48 hour darkness. Then get lab tested to show if it did anything.
it will not harm them though, I rarely do this as I grow perpetual but when I’m lazy the last strain standing might get a 24 hour dark before chop.
