4inch 170cfm inline fan question

Hey everyone, thanks for stoping by my lame yes or no i dont think that would be a good idea thread. well anyways let me get to the point. Is it safe to run this inline fan off of a heavy duty extention cord.
or a good power strip good for like multiple appliances ? and I wouldnt suppose a timer connected wouldnt b safe, > my hunch, not ran 24/7, only in interviels of like 25 minutes on and3 hours off sort of thing...

Those inline fans are built like tanks, and the 170cfm 4" only consume 65W if i remember correctly. You don't need any heavy duty cord or power bar. Don't even need a timer also! Plug it in and run it 24/7.

Yea you dont need anything heavy duty. And if you want to run a fan controller then thats great too. The one from HTG supply isnt bad. I have one and it has a fuse in it as well as a big thick grounded long cord. I like to be able to turn down a fan when its not needed to be blasting.
