I dont run R/O but from what i read its usually around 200 ppm of cal mag and you add cal mag first before anything else including base nutes. Ive added cal mag during flower without it being the first nute added into the reservoir and never had a problem. I also read you add anything with calcium first as well.. So im not sure. Hope this helps

hoping the RO keeps everything stable all the way through. i always seem to have a little issue weeks 4-5 with deficiencies. probably because im a NOOB but we will see

hey pat how did you use yellow bottle final bloom? full strength or half? what nutes did you use it with? what week did you use it? and did you get any foxtailing?

(9week strains)i started it later week 6 at a quarter strength, then i used it a couple times in week 7, about every other feed, and big bud during the feeds i didnt use the final. i didnt work up past about half strength. i used it about 6 feeds total, noticeable difference. a little bit of foxtailing but nothing that looked bad.

update day 2 of flower. had a huge problem with fungus gnats had to wait out flowering for a bit. the girls are a bit bigger than i wanted, there is 58 total but i will be tossing out 10 give or take in a couple weeks depending on how much room i end up with after stretch. there are about 25 of them that are sitting nice at 30 inches, hoping they dont stretch too much on me.

currently spraying with azatrol for the fungus gnats, i got them controlled, but they arent gone yet. i added perlite on top of the mix4 and some sand to the others, not a huge fan of the Sand on top of the medium, i hope to not have to do it again. i also have sticky traps all throughout the room trying to catch all these bastards.

i didnt upgrade anything for the room really, i did get a blue lab meter (highly recommend) and a water filter.

the nutes are advanced connoisseur, bud ignitor, big bud, overdrive, mother earth tea, bud candy, sensi syme, voodoo juice, b52, bud factorX, superthrive, roots excell, orca, yellow bottle final, protekt.

hoping for a good run, shooting for 7. comments and shit talking welcome!

strains are mostly bubblegum.. i think theres a few northern lights and maybe a silver or two.
also got another wall fan and a box fan for the ground to move some air underneath. i dont want to get bud rot again

those sound like a good line up since yure good with the BB.

i just used yellow bottle begining of week 6. i cut my base nutes in half, 4ml/gal big bud, 4ml/gal yellow bottle, and 25ml of bud candy. theyre looking good so far. gonna be hitting them again tommorow. I'm still debating on what i should feed for week 7. keep the same feeding as week 6 or add in over drive and take out big bud and yellow bottle. i been reading this thing on hammerhead and moab and it got me thinking about what to use during the pk window timing. I also started a trial run on canna coco and its nutrient line. so far i'm liking it more than the sunshine #4.

i been looking into coco as well but my last run went really well so i dont want to change anything quite yet. week 7 i switched to the overdrive an the yellowbottle and they beefed up for sure. im not too sure about moab but i hear that it works well. 25ml of budcandy per gallon seems alot. i need to start adding more with my additives i think, last run i did all the advanced additives at 2ml per gallon. mostly cause im cheap and dont like buying more than the gallons of everything. i think im going to use more of the budcandy this batch and see if things turn out better.

kamie i hear those shooting powders from house and garden are the shit, i do just fine with the yellow bottle. but my buddy swears by moab and h&g powders last 2 weeks

i got tired of reading but are you using plant success? if not i suggest you get some.


when i spray i do it an hour before lights on because thats gives it a chance to soak in and actually gives the plants a chance to use it... it takes about an hour for the plant to break it down and start doing something useful with it.

Lol my bad i meant 5ml/gal of bud candy. 25ml is wat i used total. I use a 5 gallon bottle to mix everything in and hand water. Ive read about the shooting powder combo as well, but have read more on the hammerhead/moab. I have big bud , overdrive, both liquid and dry koolbloom, and now i just got pk13/14 and cannaboost. From what i read moab, overdrive and yellow bottle is kinda similar. I've tried yellow bottle alone and have seen new growth everytime. Ive tried running it as a combo 3 out of 4 times got foxtailing. Im trying to find out which combo works best to get it blow up and maybe no fox tailing lol

hmm.. yeah ive used the overdrive with the yellow bottle and i got a bit of foxtailing but i use the yellow bottle real low dose and i do it later like middle of week 7 so they dont foxtail too bad. seems now a days people are liking those fat stacked fingers and foxtails in the bags anyways, as long as they dont fluff out it seems to do just fine. also really strain dependent, what strains are you running? my sativas foxtailed way more, the bubblegum and northern lights dont really do it too bad just add alot of weight

lol sorry pat all those cuts were from a friend. he told me to check out which ones i liked to keep and kill the ones i didn't. he didn't want me to give anyone those cuts and i promised him. as for the gsc im not sure its the real one. it smells really fruity and ive seen the platinum gsc it has a kush smell, but from what i heard of GSC it suppose to smell like cookies so i think its a dud. also it doesn't look like a yielder. the pre 98 in the other hand is a gem. its the one im planning on keeping.

day 7, i think i got rid of the fungus gnats but who knows. tallest bunch are just under 40 inches. i got it down to about 55 girls in there now, there will be a few more getting the chop within the week, depending on how full it gets. not that happy with it at this point but what can ya do. hoping things look up the next couple weeks.

tough crowd this batch i guess. its getting over crowded in here.. going to add 2 more 600watts on thursday. i figure if i announce it i cant bitch out from buying them. i dont know anything about electrical,(about as much mechanical skills as a rock) so i was wondering if i didnt use my panel where all my other lights are hooked up to.. if i could just plug the fuckers straight into the wall with a timer? 600watters shouldnt short out anything right?
