4th grow, 1st 400 watt hps and lst grow

Well it's 4 weeks and 3 days in veg from seed, and I'm undicided when to flip to 12/12. My 4 bag seeds are only around 5" high but are heavily lst'd as you can tell, but are getting soo bushy because the nodes are soooo close and the leafs are really wide and I don't know why, I know indicas are supost to be bushy, that's all I grow but the temp is in the 80's and the humidity is usually 30's so shouldn't the leafs be thinner?
My mother is doing really good, I pruned all the underneth vegitation, and looks pretty bonzai'd took 3 clones off her and tightened up the strings.
Also decided to undo one of the lst's and lollipop it and put it in the corner or something because I don't think I'll have enough room for 5 lst's in the closet.
I'll put pics up every friday, so I can see the change week to week.

the big one is my bonzai mother and the other one in the other big pot is 1 day short of 5 weeks and the other 3 are 1 day short of 4 weeks. I think my growth might have been stunted from the maybe failed fimm, not to sure yet, anyways here they are.

Looking really good my friend. I would have liked to have seen more growth for you for 5 weeks veg time, but like you said you may have had some stunting issues after trying to FIM them. I haven't tried that technique myself yet, mostly cause I haven't really needed to. But I would like to just to see the results. I've heard amazing things about it. turning one top in to 6 tops, that awesome!
I'm happy to hear you're ready to move to 12/12... You'll still get some good growth for the first two weeks of 12/12. Especially as each cola branches out to claim it's space before flowering. It's a beautiful time.

sweet, thanks for the vote of confidence man, I think I'm gonna just top them next grow, top only half and check the difference. I also had white flys and mites too, till I got a spray. But yea they're pretty small still......for week 4/5, could be my temp too, it sometimes get in the high 90's only 2 times though. They're not burning or anything though, I have 3 fans on them.
Should be some pics comming up shortly from the strech stage. Until then keep it real and keep it green

yo man just checkin out a lst grow. pulling a seat and rollin a blunt for this one. one question, next time can you use mh for veg? mh would help grow bigger in veg. nice grow n keep it up. pictures in my journal of my 400w trainwreck grow. first few days of flowering.

Hey thanks for stopping by man.
I do have a digital ballast that takes mh too, but I lent my 400 watt mh to my buddie and too cheap to go buy one this time, next time I prolly will then add a couple cfl's for flowering.

Man, I'm such an idiot!!! I swear I done smok'd myself retarted.
I went into my grow room this morning and I smelt somethng burning.......
so I checked to see if the plants were ok and if any wires were melted and checked the ballast.....nothing wrong.......so I get closer to my light and notice there was blue plastic hanging down from the inside of my reflector, getting melted by the bulb.I forgot to take the fucking blue film off the reflector. the shit was melting. So I take the film off and HOLY SHIT, I was blind for about 2 mins. I think I found out now why my plants weren't as big as they should be, the damn refector wasn't really reflecting. Man what a difference in light now.
I guess I was too excited to use my new 400 hps that I didn't notice the plastic film on it.
