Hey guys I will psot some pics this afternoon. She looks good and growing day by day. Any easy I am ki d of having an issue witbh heat. I had to get rid of my big exhaust that pushed 235cfm because it was too loud. No I am working with something shitty. That I don't even know the cfm. Any ways I need this setuf to be just about silent. Does any one have any good ideas for a very quiet exhaust system for me???

my only guess to quieting your exhaust would be as little ducting as possible. when the air rushers over all the ridges in the tubing it add produces noise. I would start with that and then just find the quietest fan you can.

The only thing is I use no duct. Guess I got to just get some quiet fans and more of them.

The quietest inline hi cap fans are the Vortex and Can. But you're still looking at almost 6 scones which is still quite noticeable. Since your box is small you might be able to get away with using a bathroom exhaust fan. (fart fan). I've seen Panasonic & Broan models 80 cfm .8 scones, about the largest cap that's still fairly quite is 150 cfm. I've used an fart fan in my veg box since I built it and the plants have thrived in there.

The veg box is in my flower room hence the duct tape on the fan housing and the elbow on the discharge to make the box light tight.

They won't work with a carbon filter, too low of flow and they would be hard to modify the fan intake to mount to a filter.

Hey man thanks for chiming in. As for my fan problem. I think I have solved it. I think what I am going to do is buy two fans just like my intakes. You know a four inch wall mount fan from radio shack. I think this will be the quietest and the most effective. Not really planning on getting a filter. It always smells like raw weed in my house any ways why change a thing? Any ways thanks for the ideas but I think I should have this under control.

another option i wanted to chime in, before you figured it out, is a setup kinda like my box in the pic. but instead of having the fan on the back of the box put it on the shelf so its in a cabinet kind of on nits on then if you insilate the walls that may take alot of noise down.

That isn't what I am going to do right now. But I do love the idea. I have thought of this before. It is greet cause you can hide your filter in there if you wanted too

Hey guys was sitting here bored. So I figured I would share a few pics of the girl. She is looking good and is on her second set of true leaves now. She hasnt hit that good veg growth spurt yet. I did open the rez and I seen the first sign of a good root structure growing. Over all she looks good. I am kind of worried about the heat right now. The high has been 91 but I will be changing that here in the next week when I make some extra cash. Any ways here are a few pics lemme know what you think!! STAY HIGH!!003.jpg004.jpg

How many days after sprouting? Looking good
The latest pictures were taken 8 days from sprout. I just can't wait till she hits her vegetative growth spurt. After another 2 or 3 sets of leaves she should absolutely explode with growth. Thanks for checking in. STAY HIGH.

Hey Penyajo,

Looks like a very successful start! Nice healthy, green leaves, no signs of stress, and the 3rd leaf set coming in nicely... great start! So have you decided to go with the LED panels?

Cheers mate,

Hey man thanks for stopping by. Yeah it is looking like shit is getting under way and on the right foot. As for the LED Panels I have decided I am going to be purchasing a 240w blackstar. The only thing is getting the money. Right now I am just cutting corners on mortgage. So I got to get a side job or something lined up so I can get it. Any ways thanks again for chiming and and look foward to a good grow!!STAY HIGH!!! rep+
