Ok, Mini update. First night of flower has gone well, lights came on fine and all.
And for the FIRST TIME in my life, I have a Flower room, and a Veg room. My clones couldn't go under 12/12, so I made a makeshift veg room to toss em into until they get a little more size too em, then i'll prob give 2 away and flower the other 2 along side the rest. Just an extra 1/2 oz if i'm lucky.

Whats the status of your grow?

Coming along great, day 46, just moved into flower, flowering with my 6500°K CFL's for 2 weeks (or so) to prevent excessive stretching, then switching to a 400W HPS. The 4 started from clone are between 18 and 14 inches tall, the one from seed is about 8 inches tell (growing almost an inch a day). The threads not super long, and each update is clearly marked.

Anyway, moved to flower, all went well!
For the first time I have a mini roaming veg setup. The clones go where theres light. when they can't be in the grow room, I move them with a couple lights into the closet, but during the day, even when the lights are on, I have them in the window with covers. We'll see how that goes, I need to make sure it's stealth enough but still gets sufficient sunlight.
I've replaced the Y adapter with 2 26W bulbs in it for 1 55W 2300K bulb. I just got the one to give C1 (my biggest plant) some extra spectrum for her switch to flower as they will be under the 6500K bulbs for another week or so in the beginning to flower.

It's kind of a smattering of all the plants, the setup, and the clones in the window. Sorry...feeling lazzzzzy and stoned.

yup, a camera tripod and a satellite tripod. But the HPS will be up in a week or so, so it shouldn't be issue much longer

nice man! im going hps after i finish outdoor and go back indoor again.

I prefer indoor for sure. Can't grow outdoor easily here, I live in the middle of the desert.

I've been up for MANY HOURS NOW, up last night shopping for my HPS, and looking for the best deal. In the end, I picked out a complete system through a vendor on amazon, and instead of it costing me $60 in shipping from HTGsupply. And that gets you a magnetic, non switchable, MH conversion bulb needing, nonair coolable, no class air tube optional, ballast with bottom barral hood and lights for around 300 when all was said and done.
INSTEAD
The one i've FOUND is digital, auto switchable, air cooled, 400W HPS/MH. The hood leaves a LITTLE to be desired, but I like the tube design, it'll allow me to attach a fan on there and run a some ducting in a STRAIT LINE to my exhaust port in the window. I'm going to integrate my carbon filter (still to be built) into this heat exhaust system if possible, although I don't know how well that will work with whatever weak fan I install.
The HTG site is down or messed up for WHATEVER reason, so i'll just post a pic of the one i'm getting. It's less then $200 SHIPPING AND ALL!!!! (since i'm getting an inline duct booster as well, same company, 1 shipping cost)

I already know the hangers are garbage. And the bulb will be dimmed or at least less usable light after a couple months. But i'm only finishing my flower cycle and packin my equipment away for a season or so til I can find a better place to grow.

But, it's hard for me to stay away so...who knows...

i got all my main equip from htg, light is still good used a light meter. and they will work with you if shit is messed up. 2 weeks after got tent set up i had to resew my zipper, when i told them about it they said sorry, 3 days later ups was @ my house with a new shell, lighter AND 2 bags of the soil i got in my original order as a sorry. ill be using them again. although i DID find a 1000 hps w ballast 4 250. might get that and veg under 400. but am so broke havent even bought a bag in 5 days. i need $

those booster fans are junk. i was using 2 at once, and they barely covering it. i would buy a real 6" inline fan from somewhere's. i bought my fan/filter combo from htg(424cfm 6") and controler. so on cooler day i turn it down and hotter days i turn it up. i cant wait to have the money to shop for a 600 watter

Just what I needed to hear, thanks. I was only getting the fan because it was from the same company and I wasn't paying any extra shipping. I simply need a single, inexpensive fan, that will cool my HPS in a semidecent manner. Doesn't need to be perfect. But thanks for the advice man, i'll pick out a new fan. Maybe one with a little power

And I shouldn't still be awake >_<

i just wanted you to know. those fans are only like 160cfm, and they do move air but not very good at all. thats why i just spent the money and bought a fan that would work for my setup, and a light upgrade down the road.

Yeah, I'll look into the inlines over at home depot and/or lowes

dude if you need a fan thats going to eliminate smell and drop the temps significantly. you cannot beat the 6" fan/filter combo from HTG like redrum said heres the link man...i got one for my new cab but havnt used it yet
