okay so I have two rooms available to use for my medical garden, one room is 20'10" x 13'6" and another room is 13'4" x 12' ceiling height in both rooms is 7'. so here is my idea, 48 plants, 24 flowering, 24 veg (cloning, small plants, mother plants..divided up) my budget is 3g's I was thinking going with 4x 600W HPS sun systems for flowering 6 under each light. I hear a 600W only provides effective lighting in a space 4x4 and produce between 80-90,000 lumens, as light strength weakens further away so I figured my best bet would be to use 3.5 gallon buckets and perform a SOG, lights 12"-14"inches away from canopy, harvest several smaller plants with dense nugs every 2 months? using smaller buckets requires less soil but also more attention to nutrient levels in the soil to maintain proper PH level for 24 plants can be tedious. but if I want my plant to live for roughly 2-3 months and from what I've read a general way to go is 1 gallon per month of plant life. Veg room would consist of either 2X 600W mh sun systems or 1x 600W mh system and a 8 bulb T-5(for clones/smaller plants,) 600W(mother/larger plants) I would use fox farm or organic roots in 3.5 gallon buckets, 5 gallon for mothers, watering generally every 3 days.. also I would use Jamaican bat guano, black molasses, cal-mag, sillicablast, clonex, walls and floor of basement have been painted with flat white, it was simple and easy since I had access to an abundance of free flat white paint. Ballast's will be mounted to the ceiling which is actually the foundation of the house. I need some help deciding on a few things... #1. whats best lighting for veg room based on my situation? #2. what would be the best choice in ballasts' for my systems? #3. what time of inline fans/carbon filters would be a good choice?
