I see what your saying and I'm okay with that. We all have our own way to do things. I employ all training. None of it do I find to be last resort moves. I typically work with regenerated clones that do not require topping. I super crop them along with lst and hst. Then I add a ridged screen.
I train all plants and NEVER TOP a plant.

Having trouble dialing in the temps on a budget ATM, this tent will go and ill do a walk in wardrobe conversion with leds! I'm guna flip to flower when either the baby kush in the middle catches up or I think the other are guna be too big for their canopy! Kinda stressed with this one. Just guna leave em, trim tuck n train what I wanna do n flip. Its a start so ik not guna beat myself up, learning curve. These temps r stressing me man. Got an air cooled hood extracted and seperate carbon filter extraction. Anyways that's it for this script. Spk soon growmees! In need of a j right thee now! :fire::joint::hump:

They are looking good. How hot does it get in there? Mine crept up to 85 during that heat wave. I try to stay right near 80. Leaf temps run 76-80 usually.

I remember using hps lamps. They grow some great weed but damn that heat.

If your not stressing about something grow related your not growing..lol. Always something to check out or tweak.

I'm just settling in to my own way of doing things again. Watching and listening to the internet is so conflicting and the damage can be detrimental to ur plants! It ain't too bad I don't think. I'm just a stress head anyway but leds are the way to go. And a temp control kit by ac infinity and I'm on track again I think pal. Just guna let em grow. Iv transplanted then and iv relaxed abit now. Think autos are for me mate. I'll try them next run in my new walk in wardrobe, then il give the misses this room and we can share it for a bigger walk in wardrobe (we got too many clothes lol) let's just watch this space then shall we lol. Bless matey

Plants will veg well at 30c. I don't think you'll have much issues if ya keep the air moving. Keep an eye on heat issues. Later on when that tent fills up may be a challenge.

No way to get cooler air pulled in there? I keep mine in my living room. It's all grow tents..lol. It has ac.

Alryte mate, yh to be honest they are doin alryte. I'm going to get another 4 in line fan, or use the 4 inch extraction as my intake and get a 6 inch kit for extraction? Or just make do for this one and do my conversion that is going to get done regardless and adapt from there. That seems the logical action dyt?

Sounds like a plan.

I use 1 6" exhaust that vents my big tent 4x8 and 4x4. Even with just that it sucks in all the walls of both tents..lol. My 4x4 has a small inline booster fan which exhausts into the big tent.
At first I thought this would cause some problems but it hasn't. The big tent run maybe 4 degrees hotter than the little one.
Tweaking a space can be fun and difficult but eventually we get what we're looking for.

Alryte mate, hope ur well. Iv sorted my heat issue. Pretty simple to be honest. Got some better ducting. Placed the intake and outtake in a better position and its running along cooler although I can't tell from a thermometer cuz it just broke lol but I can tell from the feel on myself it's cooler. Iv ended up topping my plants, i hated the fim technique and watching them tey to recover from it is horrible. Stuck to the method I know. The misses just got a kitten which got into my room! Had a disastrous play with them but they are OK. Il post photos soon. Been a real eventful start! It's easy to gey flustered though! But now I can finally visualise my projects and iv got all the items in place to make this work!! I was just winging it upto now! Now I can focus n go at ease I think blessings friend

Good to hear ya have that heat issue under control. If your thermometer broke ya can download an app on your phone. Or so Google play says ya can..lol. I e not used it but it's there if your curious. As long as you can feel the difference I'm sure it's a good improvement.

Cannabis can take a lot of heat. I grew about 35 plants in a homemade hoop greenhouse sitting in a horse pasture. Heat 100+ and rh 90+ all day every day in Alabama. All I could do was shade cloth and keep the air moving. Ended up with a nice crop. Lost a few zips to bud rot but I expected that.

Indoors is a bit different. We can control the environment which makes our hobby a whole lot easier..lol. I look forward to seeing your update.

Amazon sells jack's magic compost 60 litre bags the proper stuff not the low peat crap it's what I use to start seeds in just in case you can't find anything decent close to you it's boxed up n that so not so obvious either for future reference

I need some ASAP pal. I get paid Thursday. My bags pots are only filled half way and the stems are just flimsy in there cuz iv only been able to fill upto the old pot level so they ain't stable. I'll check this out now mate or just slap another load of the same on the top and get 5 bags ready for my next grow. Cheers for that mate. I have seen them but never paid too much attention. Suppose I'm used to lookin for the branded stuff before venturing into the soil unknown lol. Bless bro

Sorry for the silence peeps! Got a new kitten that went wild and snapped some stems!! They're all still alive but In recovery!! I'll update before I flip to flower. They've all been buried in more soil to support and hopefully root out for more structure and support!! Well I'm devod but I'll flip n hope for the best!! Next run I'm guna do fast bud autos with the shogun nutrient line they use! I really ain't got on with this one, learn as u grow tho, steep learning curve and a patience test with the new kitty! Hope all is well with u folks one ❤

Talk about it mate, been calm, since I flipped to flower! What a veg stage!!! Lol it's all good, my main girls are firing ahead! I'll keep updated fingers bless family

I used a parabolic umbrella type reflector I was impressed with it with hps it upped the lumens on the outside squares
In a hps tent you want it to be cold you can get the light way closer to them use the heat off the light
Like a campfire
I've got an led light now use my fan to blow the light down onto the canopy still going through the learning process on leds
They are the ticket man
And that's from a guy who loved hps lights
