4x4 1000 watt hso sour blueberry and blue dream grow

I have pretty high humidity here year round and just keep a lot of airflow and have not had a problem with mold/bud rot.

how what kind of lights are you using? and how hot does it get where u are during the summer? I am hoping to have this grow wrapped up by june 1st. Thanks man. I will keep u updated

It rarely gets much over the mid 85 in the hottest part of the summer here. I am close to the ocean so that is why the high humidity. I use a 400W HID in a cool tube with a Tjerlund 530CFM fan to vent so I get a lot of circulation. I just updated to a tent for my last grow from a home built cabinet that I had in my garage/office. I probably run a little warmer than ideal during the summer but it is no more than 5 degrees over ambient temps.

Might be too late to say, but I wouldn't flip them.

They look like they are in 5 gals or more of dirt (Tall bags)
If so, you can veg for 2 months or at least to 2 ft plant or less then flower.
If you flip now, you're wasting a ton of medium and yield.

i still have not flipped them yet. I am waiting one more week before i do it. I am gonna put the four larger ones in one tent and the five smaller ones in another. Both tents will be power by 1000 hps. i will update later today.

i think 18 inches is the perfect height to flip these ones because they are like to grow to 2.5 times their original size which would put them at almost 4 feet. that would give me enough room to keep the main colas at a safe distance from my lights. right now i would say the larger ones are about 14 inches high so one more week should be enough i think .

. i just checked right now and roots are alredy coming out the bottom the bags. i think they got a good hold in the medium

Hey guys hows it going. The site was acting weird yesterday. Something about a mal ware.... who knows.. any ways here is an update for yesterday. I noticed a small deficiency appearing on two leaves on two of the plants. Seems like a cal mag issue. Definitely nothing serious. As an extra precaution I am flushing all of them with R O water over the next three days. I would do it all at once but the RO only puts out so much water in one day. I will be flowering in one week so i think it is better to worry about flushing now rather than in flower when i could put extra stress on the plants. Comments and Suggestions greatly appreciated. The sour blueberry are still on the 24/0 cycle and have been showing a calcium deficiency. This is because i accidentally forgot to add foliage pro the res last time i filled it up and they were not getting any food for three days. I fixed the nutrients and hopefully they will do better so i can put them into flowering next monday.

Hey rollitup! It day 15 of flowering and as you can see things seem to be progressing rather nicely. For the first two weeks i gave them mostly foliage pro. I also removed one of the blue dreams and put it in the other tent which is has been on 12/12 for 7 or 8 days now. I did this because this tent was packed and the other one has a little bit of extra space. Here are some pics.


I removed 1/3 of the branches and leaves from the bottom of the plants. I did it all yesterday. I am hoping I did not shock them. I have seen videos of other growers do it all at once but next time i will do it incrementally. The bud-sites also grew overnight so I am not too worried. (Feel free to chime in about your opinions on defoliation and removal of lower branches). The airflow is much better down there now. I also attached some ducting to my intake fan to help improve air circulation in the tent. I am gonna buy a small oscillating fan in there in about a week or two. (I would do it now but this grow has made me poor lol)

A am worried a small magnesium deficiency has started (see in the pic below) so I added mag pro at 2.5 ml per gallon. I have also added some bud candy that was given to me as a gift from my friend who is an advanced nutrients grower. I told him dyna gro is cheaper and simpler and we argue about it all the time lol... I love dyna gro but I wish they had a root booster ...(something along the lines of rhizotonic as well as something for flavor). I heard they are adding an organic line this summer. I have just ordered some florablend for GH but after ordering it I realized that it is supposed to be used only for the first three weeks of flower. I am trying to add something to help the buds taste and smell better. If anyone has some advice on florablend and whether I can use it throughout the whole flower cycle it would be greatly appreciated

Some little clones I took yesterday during the removal of the lower parts of the plants.... I dipped the cuttings in a solution of KLN and protekt. I am cloning them in a mix of perlite and coco and I am using a sterlite container to maintain adequate humidity.


My other tent is on day 8 of flowering and in the dark cycle right now. More pics to come soon

Can never go wrong with dream its a super easy plant to clone unlike phantom and some Ogs, the plant will be ok with the lollipopping i lagged n did the same you did ,but i like to do it a week before then cut 1 week after if any sites came back, the less stress a plant undergoes in flower the more growth/yield!

Hey guys. It day 20 of flowering. Here is an update of the Blue dream tent. I still haven't managed to get shots of the other tent but i will upload them tomorrow or the day after. They seem to be starting to bud nicely. How do you guys think they seem to be doing for day 20? I think they have stopped stretching. The lights are all way at the top and cannot be raised anymore. Some of the leaves closest to the lights are turning a little yellow and their tips are curling up. do you think I should super-crop these branches or leave them as they are. They buds don't seem to be affected. I think the canopy is really nice for 4 plants

Looks like they got a nice start, they almost look at week 4, is there a fan hitting the canopy that would help with the heat from light

no there isn't.. i am gonna get one next week... but the inline fan for my intake has ducting attached to it and it blows 240 cfm of fresh air right up the skirts of the ladies... so the tops are always moving around..

Overall looks good,those blue dreams look more mature then 20 days good job ! Did you use a bud enhancer for a faster bloom?

thanks man! i just gave them foliage pro, cal mag and protekt for the first two weeks... now i am giving them a mix of foliage pro and bloom 1:6 ratio. i am feeding at 1000-1100 ppm on the 0.7 scale. My runoff was coming out at 350 ppm ... but now it is coming out at 750... i called dyna gro and they said the fact that ppms were coming out so much lower is a really good thing and that i am not creating any salt build up. i also just got flora blend and have been adding it for the last three days. pics of tent 2 to come tomorrow!

i checked to today and two clones have rooted and one had stem rot so i threw it out... the rest still havent rooted yet... how long does it usually take for your clones to root when in coco... ?

Idk about coco but mine root in 7-9 days i have them at about 3 inches hanging off rockwool in 15 days for most strains my phantom is a bit harder to clone n takes 10-20 days

I will never grow in bags again. I feel like when i have to move the plants i could be messing up the roots or shocking them or both. i prefer the sturdiness of pots and buckets. i will keep u updated

Blue dream a very nice strain aint heard much about the other,Every thing looks ok i am not one for misting plants un - less there clones or they have dust or mites on them.Over 4 week of veg they will be well over 6 ft tall when done,i veg for 3/4 week and flower at 18 ince,should pull a lb a plant at the time ya talking veg wise i pull 12 dry of each one 36/38 of 3 under 2 x 600 hps lights but that's with multi topping during vegging every end gets topped then i scrog them.scrog table goes over them at 18 ince.

Should have looked at the room before commenting not sure ya will get a lb i do them big but with plenty of room around them i think once the touch each other they strech.Still nice looking seedlings though

LOOKING GOOD -if it was my grow i get em in bigger pots or even better a full bed so the roots can spread,then through netting over them and get them to fill the scrog table.Get that light has close has possible if you can in future ditch the cool tube for a hood,honest you will see a big diff when it comes to the end result.

Thanks for the comments bro. When you I should get a hood do you mean a hood that will attach to my ducting so i can cool it or just a plain old reflector without cooling? Also do have a link to your blue dream grow? I would love to check it out!
