4x4 Grape Ape and XXX 100% organic grow

i wouldn't know, i have never done lighting schedules like these, i am going to be right here watching.

Here's a little update...I think they grabbed and are starting to grow now.

ooh yeahh! look at them, growing all big and strong.

I put a few (3) new plants in right beside 3 that were not goin' anywhere yet. This way hopefully I won't have any bear spots due to runts. The 8 Grape Ape are all doin good, and 2 of the XXX are doin good. I have the 1 Orangutrain from earlier, 2 LA Cons and an Ultra Con (my cross of LA Con and MK Ultra), and 1`Maple Leaf Indica. They seem to be happy, but I'm gonna be vegging this awhile to get these GA up and spead out the way I want them to be to fill in fully. I hit them with some compost tea last night that had alot of guano in it, so they should be poppin' pretty good real soon.

Nice! Are you running your water system or just hand water/feeding? Just curious cause I have a setup like yours but no using it right now.

I have used it a couple times, but I usually hand water. It's there if I need it though, I can throw a timer on it and hook it up if need be.

Here they are after 2 weeks of vegging with 13 hours of light being used. I think they're growing as fast as they would under 18/6 schedule, IDK. I'm not in a hurry with this, I expect to veg for a month at least with these Grape Apes cause they are slow growers.
I've been feeding organic tea from the batches I make for my outdoor, with a little added 3-3-3 Bio-Link general purpose for extra nitro and such till they go into flower. BTW Bio-Link nutrients are 100% organic all the way, so I'm not cheating haha.

OK, these are 18 days vegging tioday, and I know they need quite a bit more, but how long do you guys think I need to veg these to get a pound, pound and a half off em' with 1600 watts. 2 more weeks, a month, tomorrow?

I would say as a rough estimate would be 6 weeks, as per the amount you are seeking. IMHO

6 weeks total? so 4 more weeks then, that's kinda what I was thinking. I know I'm prolly gonna want to top em' again in 2 weeks or so.

I meant, six more weeks, although topping will give more and shorten time, i am trying to think clearly.. why don't you do in update in four weeks and show how they have progressed.

Nice experiment wheezer! I'm interested in this for sure as I've wondered about both, G Ape, and a full indoor raised bed style garden.

Great to see someone trying the 12+1 veg method. Ive been interested in seeing the growth rate. I'll be watching.

I'm starting to think that I'm not gonna have to veg these that much longer haha. The empty spaces between the plants is disapearing very quickly. I will top em' again after the new moon this week...actually that's today, so I'll be topping them tomorrow. I believe in planting and pruning by the moon phases too. But, I'll top them one more time, and prolly veg them out of that for 2 more weeks and flip em'. We shall see!
I can tell you this too, I had other clones that were pulled out of the clone box at the same time, that have been on 24 hour light, 12 outside and 12 under HID, and they are bigger (SOME OF THEM) but not by much. I think the difference is very small compared to the cost difference of 24 hour lighting. I'll never run my lights 24, or even 18 hours again. I think the gas lamp or 12-1 thoery is the real deal as far saving you money, without costing you yield, or time.

Def a lot of new growth! Looks good. Have you used the irrigation system you rigged up much, or still mostly hand watering...?

Still hand watering. Like I said, I put that up just in case I need it, but I don't leave my grows unattended unless it was an emergency.
