OK moved a few things around and the light meter is now consistent 75k lux. Girls look happy. 640 watts led

I see another KIND L6 coming soon. This light is a serious contender in the how the heck does it light up a 2x4 tray that bright contest. Measured lux side by side with a ushio 600 and smokes it. No BS no drama the Bulb is 9 months old and was putting out around 45 to 65 thousand lux. That's not bad for a 3 by 3 area but when you put that same light over a2 by 4 there is substantial degradation of light at the far end since neither me or my old man prefer light movers this seems to be a good compromise wattage: wise. IMHO 2 L6 lights in a 4x4 would DESTROY A 1KHPS.

6 inch ho can fan in a 4x4? I thought it would do the trick. Never even turned it off.

did you have a fan for circulation? A couple clip fans or a big oscillating would have done the trick.
