4x4 scrogg

I have a similar Scrog setup. I would try to even out the canopy, to maximize light exposure & bud yield, but the stems won’t bend as easily at this point in Flower, so be really gentle or you’ll snap them. I also prune most leaves below canopy to so all the energy goes to the colas.
Here’s a progression of one of my SCROGs in a 4’ x 3’ tent.

Hows your scrogg coming on now mate?

You could do a lollipop to the one on the right pretty soon. That's looking just a bit little overcrowded. Remove any sucker branches and fan leaves below your main canopy. Those suckers aren't gonna help the plant thrive and a good lollipopping will improve air flow around the base of your lady.

Your plants look great! I agree with Starecase about lollipopping. Aside from that I never grown in anything but hydroponics, so I’m not much help with your grow. You should get a nice harvest from that grow!

I usually start from seed & I’m just starting to create feminized seeds of my favorite strains. The pics of the last strain I harvested were Chemodo Dragon. A Sativa dominant hybrid of Chemdawg x Gupta Kush from Colorado Seed, Inc.
I freaking love it. I’m currently growing Aloha Limone & Guptilla (Gorilla Glue#4 x Gupta Kush). I’m planning on flipping them to 12/12 in the next 7-10 days. I’m still waiting to confirm their gender.

Nice, what do you think I'm looking at yeild wise about a lb? Or a tad more ?

My first ever scrogg guys, 3rd week of flower let me know what you think! 4x 100w cree cobs, 200 watt meihzi along side. Any rough estimates on yeild. 2 plant scrogg with a long 20 week veg! Hope to hear from you merry xmas peace View attachment 4440339
I’ve pulled 18ozs from 1 plant, vegged for 2 months (in dwc) and flowered under a 600w hps. Was scrogged with roughly a 3x3 footprint.
You should easily get a pound if grow goes smooth till finish.
Fill the net with an even canopy and add a little more lighting next run and yield will substantially increase!
From the picture it looks like you may have been able to lower the net a bit more and weaved more aggressively!?
This would of also reduce all the nodes under the canopy that aren’t receiving light.
For this run you may want to consider strategically removing some big light blocking fans to allow light penetration through the plant. This should help increase overall yield.

To be honest mate, it's my first scrog I thought for some reason if you had the net higher you would yeild more? But it seems the better option to have it lower as it fills the screen quicker and like you say you reduce the chance of producing as much larf buds underneath the net. Would u defoliate more than this? I have done alot of leave strips ! Probbs 4 on total now and pretty intense. Cheers for your input bud20191228_114240.jpg

No worries man,
You’ve done very well for your first scrog!
Yes, less veg time this way.
Looks like you’ve defoliated pretty good from what I can see in this pic, you’ve exposed light to a lot of bud sites but still left leaf at every node and have stripped leaves evenly from all colas and not all from the top.
Just remember you can over do it and loose yield. And if your not sure then don’t remove anymore. You can alway remove a fan leaf here and there that are blocking budsites.
If I’m not growing a heavy indica/don’t have a thick canopy then I try to tuck leaves after a light defol.
Stand back and look at the plant/s as a whole and you should be able to see the light penetrate through the whole canopy but you don’t want to see wasted light hitting the floor.

If it was me I would let it go now and focus on bud development.
You’ve done a good job. Just observe them closely and keep them happy and healthy and I’m sure you will be happy at harvest time 8-)

I lollipop the shit out of my plants below the SCROG, so there’s no lower foliage or popcorn buds & all the energy goes to growing big, fat-ass colas. Here’s my last SCROG from below view. I think I pulled just over 2 lbs on my last harvest. I had 4 plants that I vegged for 4 weeks.

Here’s my current crop below that I just put under SCROG yesterday. I gradually defoliate to go easy on my girls & everyone takes a different approach. Just go easy your 1st grow.

Looks like you defoliated the plant on the left way more than the one on the right. I would focus on that one on the right now. Take out those brown leaves first. They’re not helping your plant so they gotta go. Then, I would slowly start to take out leaves/stems that are not getting any light. I usually have mine done 5-7 days before I flip to 12/12, so they can recover. The shit above the Scrog will erupt in the week or so to follow. That’s when I flip over to flower & it’s game on. I’m just about a week away now from flipping one of my crops & I built a new SCROG today for another tent. I use wire mesh to SCROG so I have total control over lateral growth & canopy. My tents are only 6 feet tall so I really have to control plant & bud height without compromising yields.
