I have stepped up my game, and went and got myself a legit setup. For years I have dicked around with crappy outdoor grows(throwing seeds into the ground) and stringy CFL plants. So I went ahead and got a 4x4 grow tent, 600 watt hydrofarm reflective hood w/ glass plate and 6 inch ducting holes on either side, 600 watt hps light, proper ballast, 6 inch 400cfm fan to keep the light n hood cool, which is exhausting out the top of my tent. I Got another 4 inch inline fan pushing cool air into the tent, and one 16 inch oscillating stand up fan to move air around. Got the electronic thermometer n humidity gauge, n timers. I was recommended the General Organics Go Box, which has everything I need from start to finish. I used Fox Farm soil.
I got 10 clones from the club. 3 jedi kush, 2 bull rider, 1 blue dream, 1 jupiter kush, 1 white kush, 2 edelweiss. I have been giving them a 18/6 light cycle. Feeding them when the soil is dry an inch or two down. They are almost two weeks into the soil from their cloning cubes. They seem to be growing steady and solid except for one, but there is almost always a runt. I have been applying different LST, supercrop, FIM techniques. I want to keep the canopy low and lush!
The temps inside the tent have been high 70's to low 80's during the hottest part of the day. We have had unusually hot weather lately so hopefully it cools down.
I plan on kicking them into flower in a week n a half or two. At that point I will purchase the proper carbon filter to keep things legit, and transfer the ladies into 5 gallon pots.
Here are some pics. I will update regularly. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated as this is my first legit setup.
