4×4 Tent how many ?

I have a 4 foot by 4 ft tent and have only ever grown to plants at a time, got a heap of freebie Auto seeds and was wondering realistically how many could I grow in that space (autos) without going overboard

4 is my preference. About 4 sq ft per plant allows room for LST.

Autos anywhere from 4 to 12 depending on pot size and what training you do if any. But i find 5 is good, one in the middle then one in each corner.

Depends. You could sog with 20+ solo cups or 1 20-30 gal pot and everything in between.

I'd go with 4 in a 4x4 for simple growing, veg thru flower.
Its a manageable density, leaves everyone room to breathe and better visibility.

Really it's what you feel comfortable with. Meaning how much work you want to put into it. I have grown plants that grew 3 1/2 feet but, only extended 18 inches over the pot. To do that it requires tons of training. You have to work them every day.

I will have a go at four first time, as I like to use a reasonable sized pot.
In my opinion ( only), I think retarding the roots retards everything else

I'm doing 5. I usually do 4 photoperiods. I say do 5 . 4 is good too.
