You can build your own tent for WAY less than a factory made tent using poly sheets (you can get them at your local grow shop). I have a 5x5 tent I built myself and I'm running an xtrasun vented hood with a 1000watt metal halide/hps. My fan is at 135 cfms, so judging by the size of your space you'll probably want one around the same power.

Just a suggestion, because the money you save on building your own could be used on the fan/soil/nutrients/seeds and its really not that hard

I was going to suggest the same thing, J. 4x4x6 frame made out of pvc or 2x2. Personally, I prefer wood but to each his own. Shouldn't be more than $50-$70.

Well, since I am completely inept, I just recently bought a Secret Jardin DR120 II. Great tent and I couldn't be happier. Check it out HERE. Good luck with your decision.

I have been using the Secret Jardin DR90 3'x3'. I absolutely LOVE it. This is my first experience with a tent. It took all of 5 minutes to set up, light tight, and well insulated. Check it out in my sig.

It doesn't look like a bad tent at all. Although, because it is a little cheaper, beware. Crummy Zippers, thin skin, weak seams, these are all common tent problems. I got my Jardin for one hell of a deal. $135! It was "used" on ebay. the owner had never even set it up, all still in original packaging. As far as fan cfm, I can't tell you. But with an ambient temp of 65F, one 6" duct booster fan is all that is necessary for mine to stay in the low 70's. ($35 @ Lowe's) And that's with a 600HPS, maybe it's the cool tube though. As far as smell goes, I have not yet messed with any carbon scrubbing. I just use Ona gel. Open the little jar near the tent, and all you can smell is Ona. This stuff is great.

I would recommend getting a fan that has at least two speeds. I got a solar palau mixed fan. http://www.solerpalaucanada.com/td_mixvent.html
They can handle the same static as a centrifugal fan but don't make so much noice. I would get a 6 inch for the 4X4 tent. You can run it on low speed during veg and when you flip to flower and hook up a carbon filter flip the switch to high speed due to the increase in static pressure. I have a 5 inch and love it. 400cfm plus for your application is way to much.. 4X4X6.5=104cubic feet. Why would you want to do a air exchange every 15 seconds?

I built my first tent out of pvc and black poly walls and rolls of duct tape.
Then I spent $100 on a tent from amazon and will never go back to a hand made piece of shit again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
