4x4x6.5 Ft 600 watt hps Cooling question

So my tent is 4x4x6.5... I was looking into cooling options.

What do you think of this? Using that in conjunction with basically cutting a 10" hole in my tent for intake(nuetral). Will this keep my temps stable? Exhausted outside.

looks noisy. make sure it's not too noisy for your needs.

Says right on the website that it's quiet.

the way i understand it is those fans are not very good at creating pressure and you
can find the same style fan at home depot/lowes for half that price.
however, ive seen people attach those directly to the intake side of their light.
they worked well but they were usually a part of a larger ventilation system so i dont
know how well they they work independently.

same fans cheaper here.

That fan should be okay as long as you are not running a carbon filter or a lot of turns in ductin

but those active air boosters are a lot quieter than inline fans.


But why skimp on equipment? you can get an inline fan and speed adjuster for about 70$ more

I had the same setup... then threw the fan out. its crap. spend the extra 30 or 40 bucks and get a good fan and a cheap throttle control. it will be worth it trust me. you will just end up finding out the hard way.

great fan... cheap too. added a $20 fan speed controller and no problems. average temp is 77 with a 600HPS

It's actually doing really well. Had the system running for a few hours with that fan inside it and maintained 77F. That fan sucks, in a good way.
