That is 150w from the wall. The amount of plants doesn't make a difference for the amount of light you need for a given area. That light is good for a 2x2 canopy.

Yes you can as long as you stick to the above stated canopy, be advantageous to hang panda film to reflect light back to the plant so you don't get masses of light loss on walls
