scrapped that for colder cooler. seems a must in the placement i have them.

5-18 new seed batch put in water to soak til sinks.
but colder waters. and lots of bleach to kill any and everything int he grow area works

so setup will be 30 gal cooler. probably 12 * 6 in air stones. holds 6 plants.

seeds all filled with water and transferred to wool. under a lil shop light for a few mre days. couple are starting to sprout

everything been very stable coolers are the shit.

just changed my water 11 days light is getting in somewhere had so algae. i also opened it a lot at first testing ph. so my issue could of been over worrying. as ph stayed steady for 9 days. last 2 it was rising went from 5.8 to 6.1 added ph down... next day test 6.3 and changed.i also had a plant not deep enough in the net which i had to scrap as i killed the root in turning the plant its rocks broke it.. leaves drooped. no biggy had one still on back up... just a small 1. it will catch up no time i'm sure. good environment. also got a second f an to stack the other. hopes of the 91 being dropped to below 90 on hot days. i added the carbon filter. it added a few degrees to my room. no biggy as it still does a big trick to the light i just think movement up high would help. cleaned with soap and water... then let 5 gallons with 3 cups of hydro gen peoxide soak for 30 min in tub. while i let the babies in the bath tub. have to make due with large lid. but i am seeing now many plants will be a hassle possible a 2 man job. but my room is compact so i have to make due with what i have. this tub fits in perfectly. as far as size goes i could fit 2 in. and add 2 more holes to lid . but i would be limitied to straight up 3.5 ft plants. anyways. this is just a test run. all looks healthy in other plants and i deepend them all. so all issues should be resolved.

did a water change sunday had 3 days ina row of really hot weather. plants some are too dark some are yellowing. i wud post pics but its not a nutrient issue it was def heat. i now have umplimented co2... 2 plants may have died nto sure. i backed the light off 18 more inches and have lowered 2 per day. newer growth on the plants sure to be living are looking healthier. these seeds are old. 2 years roughly and from what i heard from maine. don't think they are made to handle heat but over 90 inteh grow room is hot to start not to mention like 15 pct humidity. trying mist bottles since noticed that and have raised it to about 36 pct and hope to get that higher slowly. i don't wanna do it too fast as it can create heat. and also shockt he plant from being way too dry to too moist too fast. so i;m tryign to up it no more than 7 pct a day. just wanted to log what i;ve done .... ina few days once plants look a little beetr as this nextr wek shall be cooler i will post a few pics of the babies. sure i stunted growth a biit. but the ones that are still tehre i think they will do quite well as tehy had alot of leaves to pull from.. the 2 that may or may not be dead had very little to pull from. like 3 or 4 leaves. all teh leaves are crispy ont hem, but thestems holds moisture tot eh touch u can tell... so well see what happens. i also did a mite treatement durnigt he hot days. even tho early morning i think they caused some evap too. well see what happens eitehr way 4 havea few signs of the heat stress but still have moist healthy leaves too and new growth looks healthy

long time no update.. had a 6-8 hour power outage lost a plant... 3 males and 1 female


i notice it is herming. and producing a few baby seeds. every male i pulled had female spots and many many male spots..... this female had 99 pct female with acouple pollen sacs... unfortunately i left town for 2 days and came abcka nd a pollen sac opened. i have now plucked away 10 seed growth spots.. luckily they are easy to identify where they are.whit hairs everywhere if i see an orange i look close its a seed forming. so i imagine i wont have perfect bud but it will be pretty good i thnk. i will show all picsi have taken at the end throughout it all. also still having trouble with slime.. i think next season i wil work on brewing that tea for good bacteria. anyways bag sed. apprently has a strong hermie gene since every lpant i've had was hermie. the room keeps light very low in off hours. Possible stress is the reason.. i do my daylight huours for plants during the night to help control temps.

Changing from mh to hps really shot up temps and i was ahvnig temp issues already so i igured lets be smart and find a way to keep cooler temps.

anyways the plant easily contains a qp of smoke and its def sativa strong 1 month into flowering.. so i am guessing anotehr month to 6 weeks.. it was slow getting going in seedling stage.. slow getting goign in veg. and it started very slow into flowering but has really started booming the last week. The slmie has really given me issues with keeping my roots long.. its liek i change water slime builds i trime the bad roots and new grow and there is a slow point ont he growing every water change i dropped to every 2 weeks and the slime seems to go away on its own.. i am am thinking of just adding nutes for a thrid week as a water change is due.. tomarrow i will decide. and maybe just clean water last 2 weeks if this goes well if it doesnt do well i will change water immediatly upon bad signs.

this thread biggestis alog to show strategies and log what works and doesnt for me.. bnext season iw ill def try that tea i read about tho.. but i wanted to get this one done sincei ts crap seeds/genetics to start. the herm genetic is just too strong.. but its fun learning hydro. not to mention i may have the worst possible water with my ppm starting at 468 lowest tested to 485 highest. not good. well thats it for now . cant wait to show the pics of the female
