no not really, what r u growiing in? soil.? if so you probly have to move the light closer to the plant as it is light stretching which causees the plants stem to be weak and falls over. is this what your talkin bout? or are you sayin your plant is nice and healthy and standin up right and 6-7 inches tall?

Hi 420..

yes pictures are always NICE.. and yummy

When using fluorescents you should keep the lights about 1-2 inches from your plants...

cheers

just support the plant so it stays upright so the leaves can get some sun, youcan use like a popsicle stick or somthin and tie the stem to it or you can use my way and make a lenghtwise cut down a straw and wrap it around the stem, holding it up straight.

use more soil. That way you can suport the stem so the leaves can get more light and the stem will start to grow more roots where you have piled the soil up.

holy stretch!!! Iv never seen one that bad, damn. Its alright though, yeh either tie it to a popsicle stick.. or any stick. Or pile the soil up. I dont think the stem is goign to root though where you piled the soil up, unless you use a razor and cut threw the bark, into the xylem, and apply rooting hormones, that would work, and if done correctly would give you a bigger yeild. That is the best coarse of action, but it is a semi difficult manuver, but would be worth the risk if you do it. They might be a bit small now however, so for the time being just give them support, when stem gets a bit thicker you might want to think about trying out this technique. Good luck buddy, Grow on : )

hey man do you think the stretching is going to stunt the plant's growth in the future? if i get the stems growing straight again will everything be fine?

dude im gonna ease your worries they deff wnt be stunted for more then a day i had some sprout this season and the 2 were ssh well they were 6 inches long above soil and completely horizontall and now after fixing the problem they r 2 of the better ones
