I had this girl since July I know mad late in ny but I figured it’ll be ok anyways I upgraded her to a 5 gallon not even a month ago I’ll show pics and she exploded in less then a month…should I get a bigger pot or is it too late in the season anyway? I think her roots are already starting to get to the bottom unless I’m high

Leaves are droopy it’s night but she perks up right away in the am this was yesterday

Used ocean frog potting soil I’ve grown hydro before I know how big roots get lol I never grew outdoors since it’s legal now in ny so I’m jw…I take very good care of her lmao I spin her every 5 hours seems to love it

I wouldnt up pot it now.. if you get to concerned you can just plant the pot partially into the ground and the roots will grow into the ground..unless you cant leave it outdoors.. then just double pot it..
Ty for reply…don’t wanna put her in ground because the sun in my backyard constantly causes shade in certain spots different parts of the day ….

Double pot it as in get another 5 gallon pot n just tear up the sides of this one ?

It is already in a 5 gallon pot. That's big enough. Like Farmer said, don't bother it.
I was meaning to put into another five gallon .. that sample pic was so they understood the double pot concept.. not to go to an even bigger pot. The whole idea is Thats if they felt the need to give it more root space

You spin your plants? I think when you rearrange plants they need to use energy to reorient themselves to the light.
I spin them bc I thought it would help even put one side that was growing more ….seemed to even out 100% and ever since I started I truly believe the plant is happier ..,,I know there’s mixed reviews on that but imo the girl exploded when I started …I rotate or try atleast every 4-6 hours

I also would think you’ll get more yield outdoors doing that it just makes sense in my backyard the sun will pretty much stay on the same side of the plant all day..,.any other inputs ?

I've always tried to grow in biggest pot l can. And more roots means more fruits! Am using a recycled tree pot for my indoor plant. Think it's around 35gallons. This has just finished transition so about 3 weeks in. I grow in biggest pots outdoor as l can, biggest pot usually means biggest plant.IMG_20220807_185623.jpg

Ty! So you think I should get a bigger pot ? Even if it’s late in the season?? At the rate she’s growing I’m sure she’ll be rootbound come September what do you think?

Just don’t wanna shock her again I transplanted her and she didn’t grow a inch in a week but then woke back up

They will completely fill a 5 gallon pot though I would not call it root bound because the roots don't circle at all. Would they fill out a 10 gallon pot? IDK, maybe someday I'll try.

It works wonders. I had roots growing thru the bottom of the fabric pot.. just so happen to cull a male a few days prior. I removed the rootball & stacked the 2 pots. It helped them really take off in the stretch. Little over 5oz dry.
Edit: Those are 1gal pots. 141B89B0-CC8B-4B6D-911B-3F5237E1CEBB.jpeg

How is the heater working for you? And do they come in something smaller. My tent gets cool at night then takes all day to warm again. My plants do well between 80-85 if I can only get there way sooner it would change a lot.

I understand what you’re doing with the fabric pot, but what is the purpose of the netting in this situation?
