5 gallon wicking bucket

Anybody ever grown using the 5 gallon wicking bucket? Go on YouTube and look up gardening with Leon. He doesnt grow marijuana but looks like it could work pretty good for it. If you have done it how did you like it

I think I will. I just took these pic's today, All are around 9 to 10 inches tall.
1 question I have : The 5 gallon buckets are about 13 inches tall I would like them to be around 16 inches tall. how can I add 3 inches to each bucket?

If you have alot to spare you could cut off the top 5 inches of another bucket and slide it inside the intact 5 gallon bucket. You should gain your 2-3 there...or the maybe go to a home depot and get plastic edging that goes around rock beds and screw that to your bucket I believe they are 5 or 6 inches tall and a roll is 10 to 20 ft long for not much money ....that's probley your best bet

Hey toast
Change of plans because of covid. money might get tight. so I have to grow in the ground and for as cheap as possible. Any idea where should i post ?

I'm sure you've been there but go to growweedeasy.com....the website has a TON of info. I'm new to growing myself so I would have no suggestions for you. Especially outside growing. If you want to post on this site go to the outdoor growing forum and post in there for tips on outside.
Once all is stable for ya and you do the wicking bucket let me.
