Ok ty I’ll check it out.Start using Sunshine 4 or Sunshine 4 Professional instead of expensive Fox Farms products and forget the space making.
I think since it’s a 7 gallon and just a cone, u prob got plenty of soil still for one seed to have a nice yield. I originally did it to save money using less soil but won’t again.I’m with you my man. I have been thinking about doing this. I have 7gal fabric pots, I might put a cone in the middle at the bottom, that has lots of holes in it. This will allow an air space to go upwards to let some air for the roots.
I grow indoor in dirt (FFOF) in 5 or 7 gal bags, no problems, get about 6 oz bud, dried and trimmed, per plant.I use 15 gal GroPro Injection Molded pots for 70/30 Coco/Perlite. You're going to have problems growing in a 5 gal with Dirt. I used to use 25 gallon pots for soil and being a basement grower, fuck that.
Try your local nurserySoil outlet in off Todd Road in Santa Rosa Ca. They’ve got 50 different types of bag soil, and a grow shop too. I’ve never seen a 2 cu ft bag of FFOF.
