Thanks mate,I've noticed now though that since I've trimmed them and they are drying out they have gone quite a bit darker than they were.Great looking bud
It's normal. Most bud gets darker as it dry's.Thanks mate,I've noticed now though that since I've trimmed them and they are drying out they have gone quite a bit darker than they were.
Is that normal or just different for each strain as I'm not familiar with gorilla glue and this is my first grow for a few years so I'm a bit rusty lol
Thanks mate cheers for the inputIt's normal. Most bud gets darker as it dry's.
Your stems are still pretty green so you still have moisture in them. They will loose a little more weight but not much. Looking good tho.Just a quick update guys,my buds are dry and trimmed and I've put them in plastic tubs to start curing them this evening,I weighed them before curing and I got 6.5 ounces from 4 plants.
Will I lose any more weight during curing and if so does anyone know roughly how much?
Thanks
Cheers mate thanks for the input, just wanted to make sure that I would end up with some half decent bud at least lolYour stems are still pretty green so you still have moisture in them. They will loose a little more weight but not much. Looking good tho.
I like wet trimming dry trimming is a bitch and takes twice as long imo@Budley Doright is correct way easier to trim wet I do like that also I heard dry trim help keep it moist longer and keeps flavor better but I have never tried it .. I might do a comparison on that with my 707 Headband they are the same Pheno so it would be fair to try it out.... But it’s up to u bud hassle free or trying to get all the leaves off the bud once it gets stuck to the bud .. Usually when I chop it’s 4 plants so it’s alot of work which is why I do it wet but whatever u decide let me know how it turns out.. Congratulations brother on a successful grow....
They lire around 70% of their weight when dryAlso does anyone know roughly how much weight I should expect to lose once my girls are dry as when they were growing it was looking like I was going to get a couple of ounces from each plant but now it's drying and some of it is trimmed it's looking like I'll only get about an ounce total lol.
I grew 4 plants straight from seed.
