5 week old seedling height

Hey growers!! first grow here.
Jus want some opinions on my plant. It's 5 weeks old. But I find its really short. Bushing out alot but short, under a t5 vho light about 6 inches away from the light. Should I keep this distance or put it further to stretch the plant? I want to take some clones off it like maybe 20 clones. 20160507_213228.jpg 20160507_213217.jpg 20160507_213217.jpg

It was a friendly joke :))
The plant looks fine and could do with some nutes by now...
If its indica you can expect a bushy plant...
Is it auto or photo ???
What strain of plant??
Guess you cant give an in depth explanation of your grow ??
Enjoy ya 4 hands buddy :))

My reply was a joke too. It's super iced grapefruit. Photo. In soil and feeding with some organic nutes. Guano tea. But where I live is pretty humid so my soil takes for ever to dry. It stays wet for like 5 days so I only feed once a week. I don't want my roots to rot. But it seems to be sucking up the water a bit faster now so maybe I might get to feed twice I duno.

Its indica, no wonder its short and bushy.

diesel x chronic is the genetic makeup for it, the name is too fancy for such a simple strain imo :D

I use 50/50 soil perlite so yours looks like it will take longer to dry out...
A fan blowing gently on soil will help to dry out faster... And you can expect a massive growth spurt when you decide to change to 12/12 for flower... Expect some rapid growth 2-3X bigger or more, so be sure you have enough room and enough light :))

Well I was thinking about scrogging. And keeping it in veg for clones. And I'll buy an hps to flower. I'll do a sea of green with the clones.

side note, you should give them a stronger light. around week 2 they're capable of metal halide. they grow really really quick. t5 isn;t enough light for them

Well I would have loved to have that but I'm cash strapped atm. I can only afford one fixture and that wud be for flowering the clones. I should have bought that at first instead of the t5. But it's the sunblaze VHO T5's. I'll only use it to veg. I have to get the hps fixture to flower. Maybe I should just get the hps and MH bulb set up and veg then flower this plant and forget about the clones for now. Not really sure what's better.

So how simple is it? Nothing special? Damn. Anyway it's my first so if I do good I'll probly get some better genetics
Yeah I'm about to finish up my first grow too, I've bought some SSDD from Bodhi.

Take a look at his gear, it's on another level compared to most other strains.

Where can I find his stuff? I was impressed by sincity seeds. They got some fire looking grades.

I've never used T5's before, but all I can say is, I used a 400w Metal halide from the start of its life up until the end of the veg cycle, then moved onto a 400w HPS. I can see how plants would benefit greatly with less heat/light in early stages, but they mature fast and need something bigger and better to grow as fast as possible.

Strapped for cash? It cost me literally like 80 bucks for my MH/HPS bulbs + Light fixture + Ballast included. It's not that expensive..

All the fixtures I've seen on amazon are over 120. Plus I gotta pay shipping which will be about the same cost as the fixtures. Where I live doesn't sell those fixtures so I have to order them. I live in a third world country . 80usd is alot here .

https://www.rollitup.org/t/bodhi-seeds.518143 - For all your bohdi related questions. Alot of sites sell them, I've ordered mine from Midweeksong. The seeds aren't cheap if you're buying a collection of them. Alot of his seeds are on the decline and are soon to be "extinct" in the market due to him losing a few of his plants. caused mainly by his Appalachia stud which is what he used to breed afew of the best strains currently out there.

You're looking at the wrong thing if they're over 120.

Import charges from the US can run anywhere between $20-30 to europe. But try to order them from ebay in your country, somebody is bound to be selling them I'm sure.

Import fees here are alot higher, it's like 20% duty and 15% tax on top of the added 20% duty. I'll try to find the money tho. And that guys seeds are mostly sold out. Same as the sincity ppl. I'll have to research the strains that haven't been sold out yet. Must be really good stuff I hope he revives himself somehow.
